I just read that lots of the gen 5513/17 already have Omega hands because Rolex hands aren't available anymore. My thought was to remove the white color of the seconds hand. But if the HR hands are good enough this would be the cheaper and easier way to go Sent from my wooden drums via Tupperware

The Yuki I'm going to buy is from Tickleshoes over at RWI and will be serviced and with some gen 3135 parts or at least new parts. Gen DW is now on its way to me

Ja...me too I'm a bit torn now...with fixed bars I think it would look better to have sword hands. Gen Seamaster 300 sword hands should fit an ETA 2846 or?

Gen dial and hands would be very hard to get, even with enough money aside. Not sure if a gen dial fits a SA3135 but for this project I'd take a yuki 3135 or maybe a gen 3135. The watchmaker I recommend is Domi http://www.wilerwetta.de/

I checked the Internet and found some pics of gen 5513 with that dial and spring bars. They seem to be rare but they exist...at least from what I found in the net. Hey gents , I'm about to have me built a light franken 5513 and would like to see your opinion on my plans So far I was lucky enough to buy a Cartel case reworked by Rolojack which is actually on its way to me. Today I received a gen but refinished dial. Even though it's refinished I'd say they did a great job. I already bought some NOS Tudor hands and would like to have an ETA 2846 in there. Which bezel assembly shall I choose and would you guys say a TC crown and tube is enough or shall I go the gen route there too? And for the crystal I guess a Clarks T19 does the job as well as a gen would do. To be honest...I had both back in the days and I wasn't able to tell the difference...

So...gen dial arrived yesterday and it's definitely a non maxi dial My specs for the franken are now: Already in hand: TC v7 16610 Gen crown and tube Gen inlay Gen crystal Gen dial On its way: Gen hands "Ordered": Yuki 3135 Not bought yet: Gen DW Anything else to be added that I forgot?

Many thanks to all for your input...I just learned that my dial is a "normal" LN dial and no maxi dial...looked like a maxi dial for me on the pics...guess I have to get new glasses

I just asked him if he knows that his "luxury watches" are reps...the Bulgari hurts my eyes as well as the RLX...dunno if the Breitling Cadett is maybe gen...

Seems like I really had luck with that dial tripdog over at RWI already stated that it is a gen service dial This plus your statements here makes me feel certain that I got a great deal at the bay

No photo of the rear yet. I just bought it since it was less than half the price other sellers ask for. There is some discolouration on the lume. No biggy for me I just can have it relumed by Domi. If it's not gen I'm backed up by Paypal and if it is I'm going to have a nice franken TC soon I compared it to my TC KH dial and it looks pretty much the same...but I guess I have to wait until I have it in my hands...
