I never cared if a watch is period correct or not, be it gen or rep. In first place the watch has to entertain me. Some do it ootb and some don't And...to be honest...I love it to have something that no one else has Looking at your black beauty here makes me think that I eventually have to go that road again but with a black chrono at the end -

I know that some of you always sought after a 26mm shark mesh but none were available. I was one of them and just today I found out that deepbluewatches has them in their shop. Not the ones with only a small part of mesh while the most part of the bracelet is with usual links...the shark mesh we all know from our Ploprofs http://www.deepbluewatches.com/222426shbr.html I already ordered one

I had been able to source the version with recessed subdials via m2m and I have to say "yes...there is definitely a visible difference" plus the "old version" is capable of taking a swiss 7753

Just a little modding?...huh...case shape is wrong, cg shape is wrong, cb is wrong, lug holes have to be redrilled...plus the aging...and I bet the crown size is wrong too and according to the pics I'd say the DW is also wrong... I mean...yes...129$ is a good price but one has to spend pretty much time and/or money to get it at least acceptable (in my eyes). But the good point is it doesn't say "date" on the dial

Just found them too and asked for a quote for 3777 crystals. According to them they are gen spec and AR'd. But 160$ per crystal (incl. paypal and shipping) seems a bit high to me. Not sure yet if I order or not...

New gear train, jewels, modifying the module plate to have a seat for the new gear...at least that's what I understood Domi said I don't have to worry about the movement anymore. It only stops when there's no more power reserve (due to not wearing/winding). Sent from my wooden drums via Tupperware
