  1. Bud, I think he meant the franken. I spent roughly around $2600ish. There was a lot of trial and error.
  2. Gen bezel, gen dial, gen datewheel, swiss eta movement.
  3. Lol Just wanted to share some pictures of my franken deepsea. the master craftsman behind it was misiekped. Amazing work I tell ya! He does the impossible.
  4. ^ what he said. The word franken has been used too loosely lately. Modded is the right work. Best of luck with your project, do post pictures!
  5. I just wish these dials were more detailed. Though hard to see it on the wrist, I just know that the gen dial tapissiere is more defined.
  6. Could you please post pictures of how the crown is sitting now? Did the case need to be redrilled to accommodate gen stem height?
  7. Double ar, relume. I'm considering doing a rhodium replating on bezel screws and hands. Not sure if replating the hands is possible. Can one remove the lume, do the rhodium coating and relume the hands? Mine says hi
  8. Apguy1, bud we have talked about it. I have a case ready for you to do some machining. Let me know when you are 100% ready.
  9. Just wanted to give a shout out to dbane883 and Misieked for an amazing job. I couldnt be happier with the results. The watch is complete and it looks beautiful!!!!!
  10. Bro I think you fell out of your chair and got a concussion lol. just kidding, not my cup of tea.
  11. Bro if you don't mind, can you please take a comparison shot of gen crown height and rep crown height. I'm trying to see if it's possible to install y3135 movement because that would allow you to use gen dial and hands. Thank you!
  12. I wish you would have taken macro pictures of my rehaut. V3 case at one point came with the proper rehaut.
  13. No its actually the type 3 with swiss movement. The watch has gen insert and crystal on it. I have bought the new tc lv dial and hands and will be sending it to dbane for update
  14. Misiekped, I'm sorry your watch doesn't qualify. That's a gen watch you got there. Lol what about it is rep
  15. Looking at gen vs noob v3 pictures and comparing the crown guards, i think i found a reason why the crown guards are thicker on noob vs gen. As you can see in the picture below, the crown positioning on the noob case is more centered to the case, where the gen crown sits a little higher. Noob case creates this square shape in between the crown guards, where gen create more of a trapezoid shape. Hence the noob crown guards look fatter from the front compared to gen. Now i am almost certain, that if we measure the crown guards from the bottom of the case, the noob crown guards would be thinner in respect to gen crown guards. Noob vs Gen crown height Noob vs Gen
  16. More update. Today the hole was filled, now its down to laser redrilling - cannot wait!!
