  1. Teaser update with the completed twins!
  2. No rep comes close to the detail and quality of the gen ceramic inserts.
  3. New gen inserts can be bought on the bay and TRF for $300-$800. Price depends on whether you buy just the insert or entire bezel assembly. It's also my understanding that the new Pepsi inserts are not compatible with the existing gen SS watches. There are a few threads discussing this on TRF. Something todo with the difference in bezel dimensions.
  4. I think a member on RWI concluded that this new noob GMTc can also accept gen assembly.
  5. Great work as always!
  6. Nope. Nothing here. Move along now...
  7. You start off with one… and before you know it you are homeless under a bridge with 100s of reps, haha. Welcome to the addiction!
  8. Fantastic build and pictures! Good work!
  9. Looks good man. Love the GMTc family!
  10. No website. You just email him.
  11. I'm on a mobile phone. He's a TD listed as Super Mirrors.
  12. Mine last one came from a m2m sale but I've bought several from Sead. Good guy to work with
  13. Yes sir. Latest and greatest from the BP factory.
  14. Glows like a torch for hours
  15. I recommend the BP factory GMTc (Sead can sell you this, "SuperMirrors" in the TD section) if you ever plan on modding the watch. I have a BP GMTc with gen bezel assembly and gen crystal. I prefer the ICHS as its proven to be more reliable in my personal experiences. There are some who've had CHS movements run for years with no issues. Luck of the draw. I am not to concerned with the ICHS tell as its only evident near midnight which is a non issue for me.
  16. Dial and hands have strong lume. Only thing is that the hands do not match the dial in terms of color and depending on how picky you are you'll need to relume the hands to match the dial.
  17. wow… that went fast...
  18. That last lume shot is awesome.
  19. Great comparison. Nice to see a viable affordable option to the gen offerings.
  20. +1 He is the in-house expert all things datejust
  21. Love to see these unique hard to build projects. Wear it in good health!
  22. Not a fan of the "Tiffany blue".
