  1. Anyone else having problems getting onto Joshua's site?
  2. Very true, moment I get any watch I pressure test it, then I take the back off, check all screws are tight and its winding and spinning, pop it on the timer for a quick check. Clean and grease all O rings and the stem, seal her up and pop her in the depth tester. Of the 20 or so watches I've had from Josh, every single one, except one has been waterproof enough to shower and dip out of the box. Every single watch Josh has listed as waterproof to a particular depth has tested to that depth fine One had been assembled with the O ring not in correct place (easy fix, but would have leaked if not checked) Main observation is how many have bridge and [censored] screws that are loose. Rotor screws loose, dry O rings etc. Just taking the back off, a quick check with a screwdriver and some grease on the rings would make many watches last a lot longer and requires no real special tools or skills. Joshua packs watches really well so I doubt this is due to transport. It just shows the lack of care when being build. My other observation is that its ALWAYS the Swiss versions that have the build issues, so I would always buy Asian by choice. That's cos the Swiss are rebuilt and the Asians come direct from the manufacturer (who shows a bit more care than the kid putting together "Swiss" mechs from the huge boxes of broken bits they use)
  3. My 299 passed 60m waterproof test direct from Josh so I wouldn't worry too much. The marina design is good for keeping water out, as long as there are O rings installed in the right place then she will survive a bath no probs
  4. Josh's definitely doesn't have AR when it arrives despite him and website saying it does
  5. Working great How about a tick box for Destro, for the cack handed members
  6. Many thanks, Made a donation for your work Could we have a search by number field, would be great to go and look at a 299 or 89 directly Also if I click to select a search property, if I click it again would be good if it unselected By great work and looks stunning Stephen
  7. Looking really good. Cant wait. Well done Is there anything we can do to help or support? S
  8. The other vendors dont call it a K series, then the dial is correct. Watch is exactly as per current 299 on Panarai website and is easily a super rep Sounds like the pin release is broken on one of yours, although on mine it took me a few attempts to get the position and timing right. You need 2 tools and have to push the release button in at exactly the same time you push the pin out and a plastic tool won't cut the mustard, it needs some force and a metal pin. I don't see it as an improvement over a screw bar at all I would try using a screw type bracelet pin pusher on it
  9. Dial is correct as per Panerai's own catalogue http://www.panerai.com/catalogue/#/panerai-catalogue-2013/73/double-view/ should be L SWISS MADE L should be directly under the 6
  10. Watch was from Joshua at perfect clones. I find I'm wearing it a lot. Love being able to change straps easily to suit mood/occasion and light weight of such a big watch. Also just a bit different than the normal pans. I have the 299 for normal pam days, but it weighs a ton with the bracelet on. Fortunately it also takes straps for more versatility The toshi strap has softened even more in one day. Is super comfortable and dries quickly when soaked (3 times today!). It's so comfy that I've found myself tightening it closer than I would normally do This is definitely becoming a favourite Combo and may overtake my sea dweller for wrist time
  11. Just received a grey strap for my titanium Pam 89 from Richard at Toshi Straps http://toshi-straps.co.uk/straps.html Very well made, nice, even stitching. Leather is thick, solid but curves nicely and was comfortable immediately. I chose a single keeper, titanium screw buckle and grey stitching. Colour is a great match for the titanium and the combination looks great on my Skinny 16cm wrists Recommended. I have another strap on order (Brown), that I now cant wait to receive. I normally swap my straps a lot and have around 10 or so including original OEM ones. This one is going to get a lot more wear than many of the others (Click on the thumbs for full size)
  12. Way to go markiemark. Cant wait to see the results Thanks and Kudos to you for all the work S
  13. The new release is OK but requires 2 hands, You have to push the button in and at the same time press out the bar. Requires 2 thin tools. Personally I prefer the easy unscrewing of a bar with a single screwdriver
  14. Josh at Perfect clones does, that's where mine come from, great service
  15. 6 watches from Josh at pclones now. all great, brilliant service and all under 15 days, a couple under a week to arrive to UK. I wont go anywhere else
  16. Interesting then that you can pay for soft Porn mags subscriptions using paypal (Zinio). Seems double standards
  17. Oh and take bracelet off (easy) add strap and you have a completely different watch. 2 for the price of 1
  18. I have had the same on my wrist for the last week. Start with the weights now, it's a big hunk of metal, but beautiful
  19. I keep wearing it, The Dwellers and Subs are getting less wrist time now. have the rubber, a black and brown strap and rotate these Thinking next watch will be anther simpler PAM
  20. How will they tell the back has been off? they will only know if you tell them. Just say you put it in sealed container with rice until it was dry Shoddy service, they need to do it again and properly, at a minimum they should have regreased the O rings and pressure tested it
