  1. I know it's not the gears but it's as if we can see the movement as the plate seems to be decorated
  2. I am a big comex fan, here is mine http://www.rwg.cc/members/Rolex-1665-Comex...ml&hl=comex
  3. Agree with Hike, what happened to the screws????? Someone worked with a hammer here?
  4. They clearly should create a new case with the good sandwich structure and in titanium and with the good size everywhere...
  5. I was happy but when I saw the glass...
  6. Franken 1665 Comex, Gen 16610, Gen 16600 (not mine...) Best regards
  7. As long as we show our 1665...
  8. I have a gen, I hope it's price will increase with years...
  9. No way... I am going to be sick... Nevertheless, we have to know what those prices represented in those years. The aim, as we are supposed to know watches, is to buy today the watches that tomorrow will cost x300 today's price...
  10. I don't know if it has been said but I know how prices are made (I used to work in a jewelry). Take the basis of 1000. The manufacturer sells the watch 500 VAT. Yes, the jewelry adds a margin of x 2! The manufacturer uses approx 30% of the price in communication which means here 150 Remains 350 You add all the fixed costs of structure and employees, costs of research... Your watch costs 100 approx. When you know that even manufactures have sub contractors who add their margin... the watch costs nothing... I am not dreaming, that the reality of the market. I plan to create a brand, I know what I am talking about. As rep manufactures have low cost employees, no research, no communication... that's why the price is so low. There is nothing to do with passion, prices are not fixed like this for fun. You take the decision to penetrate a market, you fix the price and then you try to do everything to produce so as to reach that price... Hope I am clear...
  11. If someone wants a movement I have one for sell, it's a Bulova (ETA+DD)
  12. I bought the storm and I regretted it, I changed for the Bold far better!!!
  13. Just thank you, I am glad I ordered one...
  14. Sometimes it's an annoying problem on reps so I ask the question: when you turn the bezel, how does it feel and sound? Does it sounds good or cheap? Thank you
  15. I don't know if it has been mentioned but talking about the band, on the deep sea it is supposed to have the end link and then three other links not removable and then the removable ones whereas on a normal sub or SD you have the end link, four not removable links and the removable... it's a detail but I think it's important to say. On Josh site it is correct but I already saw it with four links... I hope I am clear, not easy to explain
  16. Congrats from a Comex lover
  17. What do you think about that, not big fan http://www.larevuedesmontres.com/audemars-...r-art-1031.html

  20. Hello, I am very proud to show you my project, I will develop later the details because I don't have much time right now... Case and hand by jewelryandwatch with personalised engravings and caseback made for me according to pics of gen Comex. Dial from ND Trading, I hope they will make it with white lume soon because I don't really like this orange... Project built with my watchmaker who did a great job adjusting everything. I almost forgot, gen 93150 with 585 endlinks from the jewelry where I work (less exensive than those in bad condition on the bay...) Please someone could explain to me how to put big pics...
  21. I live in the city where the Comex is. Maybe you know but the Comex watches were delivered to the divers with another dial and for them, it looked cheap to have Comex written on the dial and they went to see watchmakers to do the exchange, without asking for the dial replaced... this way, my watchmaker has a 1680 Comex (60 pieces...) and some dials he had for free... if they had known...
  22. I paid the guy and he gave me back my money because he sold it for more on timezone... I will finally buy a brand new one in the jewelry with who I work... My 1665 Comex is almost finished!
