that is fantastic news. im gonna get a case. i have a really good caseback, so i hope it fits.

im seriously considering this one. Ive been looking at a lot of pictures of the gen, and it all depends on the lighting. The dial does nearly look black in dark conditions. Its a holy grail watch, so i hope this one is right.

does anyone know if davidsen uses his old cases, or the new "slimmer" ones for thi model? IM considering buying just the case, since i have a stranded 028 project.

i actually think it is a darker grey, than the first version. the subdials are black, so the dial is definetly lighter.

i guess this is the new version?

I dont know why, but im slowly falling in love with these two watches. I like the fact that they are pure madness. Dont know if i could pull them of though.

Hello everyone, I gave my girl a franken datejust (mens size), with an original 70s case. During our recent holiday, the crystal just popped of. We could find it, so know im looking for a new one. Do any of you rolex guys know what the crystal is called? the one in the watch was plastic, but if would be really nice to put in a saphire one. I guess i can dig up one on ebay, but i need the name. HMM. i think im going to ait for rolli too. I know he has the testure and color locked down. my 028 has the gen automatic crow, lello datwheel, ssurfer cyclops, and a The Zigmeister lumed dial. This one needs to be perfect:-)

So i bought a very nice pam 028. It has the right cyclops, soprod mvmt, a gen crown, perfect datewheel, and the lume is just right. Only thing it needs is the right pvd coating. Ive spoken to rolli for a while, but it seems his pvd connection was lost somehow, and im now looking for somewhere else to get it done. Does anyone here have some good experience? cheers rkdk

I actually think this is pretty cool. At least no one is going to be ripped of on the second hand market anymore.

Although i like the cases, i think the font on the tudors is way to big. Looks very clumsy. Its seems rolex as a brand is focusing more on the luxury end, and tudor is going more toolwatches.

Thats pretty horrible. Looks like watches for the new money crowd from russia. The Tudors on the other hand look really nice.

Its an old omega from the 1940, so the warranty isnt there. Takin it to the AT? dont know what that is.

I bought a watch of ebay, and the watch arrived no problem so far. Soon after I received it discovered a small problem with the watch. The hour hand was touching the seconds dial, so the watch essentially would stop. Figuring this was an easy fix, i wrote the ebay shop, and the seller told me, they would be happy to pay for the repair. i took it to the shop, and after two weeks i got a call, stating he couldnt fix the problem. aparently the hour hand was loose on the stem, and he couldnt set it high enough to clear the seconds hand. I wrote the ebayer, and now they refuse to take back the watch. Its been over the 60 days, so i cant even leave negative feedback anymore. Question is. Is there any way to open a dispute after the feddbakc period? Im sure it was sec at 12. it had the wrong caseback though. The rosegold one had an ss caseback. Lets hpe it was just the prototype.

Well, i personally got really excited about the sec at 12 baricehllo, recently showcased on joshuas site. He pulled it of his site, and i have no clue why. Has anyone got any info? rkdk

I dont know whats happening in this world, but it seems there has been an increasing amount of these incidents the last few years. What would drive anyone to such a thing. I cant imagine the amount of frustration tha would drive a preson to such extreme measures.
