The cutout for the date window got in the way. And that's why the "3" is also narrower than the other Arabic indices. Totally makes sense to me.

Cats, It's been a humbling honor to see you confront this mortal mile we all will travel sooner or later. Your courage and selflessness is exemplary. Whatever or Whoever you hold greater than yourself must be very proud of you, as we all are. Goodnight and see you on the other side. "When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home." ~ Tecumseh

Awesome collection, Bidle. I did not know the TNT Challenger finally came to fruition on WUS. Been spending all my time on the dark side. Would love to pick up one. How would you rate it?
-
Aaannd Perry563 draws first blood! I say get the ZF. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either. Neither is perfect, but they're both very good reps. Pick one and show it some love. With the passage of time, yours will look like no other.

Dude, you trying to start WW III? Seriously, you'll get quicker answers if you can provide links to the specific watches.
-
And therein lies the rub with Sead. [emoji6] His prices can't be beat, and he's one of the most reliable TDs around, but generally does not send QC photos and tracking information unless they are specifically requested (I always do with all my preferred TDs, and he's one of them). Yep - you pay and your watch just shows up at your doorsteps a fairly reasonable time thereafter. [emoji1] One thing you're guaranteed though (and the reason why Sead is preferred by many) is he picks and sends the best available. Barring shipping mishaps, DOAs from Sead are rare.

Try this link: http://www.trusty-watch.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_66&products_id=12344 By the way, Sead (Supermirror) also has it for slightly less: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/173429-seamaster-300-co-axial-liquid-metal-updated-8400-289/

Done? Don't you mean down? Word on the 'nets is RWI is down for server upgrade. Hopefully, nothing is fried. Pun intended.

Wait some more. When you factor in the time differences, two days is only a few hours. He'll get back to you.

Nice patination. That's what's so great about the Bronzo - no two are exactly alike.

The blue BB just never had the same appeal as the red for me. It just seemed like an afterthought and very ordinary. That said, the rash of sales is not uncommon. There is a lot of impulse purchase with new reps. We are all prone to the phenomenon. A while back, it was JLC Navy Seal Divers sales that were popping up like mushrooms. They sold fast too. The good thing is you can unload most reps with loss no more than your shipping costs.

I admit I post more often on other forums than I do here, but I like the vibes around here a whole lot better. If I can compare the forums to places, the others are like the local bar, where I go to ogle and pick a fight or two. This place is my quiet place, my hallowed ground. It's where I have learned to put this materialistic hobby in mortal perspective. When was the last time anyone talked openly about their end of life issues and experiences on other forums? I've read at least 2 instances here in the last 6 months. The show of support have been tremendous. It's that kind of place... Not just about acquiring counterfeits. It's about the humanity. Ok.... I'm having withdrawal symptoms again... [emoji1]

Beautiful photos. Awesome shield... um, I mean piece. It's a statement watch, and you ain't too bashful! [emoji1] I too have one in transit.
-
Holy Molly! Awesome combo! If I ever was on the fence about this watch, I just fell like Humpty Dumpty into the "Gotta Have It" column.
-
To me, nothing screams "FAKE!" louder than diamond-encrusted men's watches, but if that floats your boat, I'd say "Go for it". Unless you know someone who can fix rep tourbillon (I don't know any in all the forums) you're looking at a potentially very expensive paperweight.

Thanks, but I can't answer your question with a straight face. They've all been my favorite at some point. As I type this, the UBoat is my playmate of the week possibly only because it's my latest acquisition.
-
Here's a "quick and dirty" group shot of my chronos. I don't think any of them need introduction except the UBoat Chimera (first one in the 4th row)
-
LOL. I see what you did there. Love the combo. [emoji7]

Well, if it's any consolation, your beautiful photos have made me add Ploprof to my wish list. How easy is it to resize the mesh bracelet?

@victorDSSD - "V6 from Noob"? V6 is the name of a rep factory just like Noob. I know, I know - who names these factories? Like we're not confused enough! "Such a lovely place.... This could be Heaven or this could be Hell. We are all just prisoners here, of our own device. Relax, we are programmed to receive. You can check-out any time you like. But you can never leave!" - Tapatalk signature adapted from "Hotel California" by Eagles

Looks good. Got mine from Toro too. One of the best TDs, IMHO. By the way, don't let a gimmicky timegrapher fool ya - you could still get a DOA notwithstanding. "Such a lovely place.... Well, there's a Zurich City in the State of Kansas, USA. Population: 99.

At the risk of sounding cliche, laughter is indeed the best medicine. Keep your chin up and stay positive. We'll keep you in our thoughts, Hambone. Sending good vibrations your way, man.
