The stutter in mine looks more like the way a quartz would tick. When the chrono seconds is activated, it would have these 'ticks' all over the place. Is this still a tilting pinion or send back to dealer?

I think a lot of people can probably relate @Rxus - Just a little out of topic. When you met the father, did you look like the part that would own a gen or pay 3k for a watch? In any case, probably good to mention next time you see him, privately to tell him - btw, forgot to mention that if this were real, i would have paid 3k but believe it or not I only paid $$. Can you believe it? Have a closer look. Good luck.

I guess another option would be for you to see if you have a local watch guy to look at it. It may save both of you $$ and time. You just need to work out how much the seller is willing to cover.

The position of the subdials remind me of the Omega UPO chronograph....they're tightly close together. Not exactly sure wha type of movement this is.

That price is about right. @chino. I wish it were mine my friend The reality is that this is from a friend's collection. This beauty is about 47mm and the SA is 48mm. The difference is too small to notice

Went to an airshow last month and lo and behold a Breitling booth at the entrance. I salivate. They had 2 trays of goodies on display. I was sporting my SA and got to try on a few. Picked up some swag and reading materials including this new Bentley model. Check it out.

Here's shots of a friend's gen Navitimer World in brown strap. Check out the deep grooves on the bezel. The only rep that have this is the Datora. The size is huge and just slightly below my gen Super Avenger. Enjoy.

Just goes to show that people wear both including those who can afford gen. Makes you wonder if the purists quietly have a few reps themselves too

Are the arabic markers including hands painted black and not luminous? Looking to pull the trigger on this one.

Interesting that the AD does size up the rep collector based on how the rep collector looks or carries itself. This is one of the most important 'tell' If it just doesn't fit the overall picture then there is a possibility that it maybe a rep. Back to the rep collector playing with fire, the AD should really call it everytime he is presented with a rep.

Nicely done. Definitely an inspiration for all of us rep collectors. This is probably the ONE reason why rep collecting is favourable than collecting gen. This is not to say rep is better than gen. The things you can buy with 5K on one watch versus the satisfaction you get of collecting various watches and put them up for display....priceless
