If not yeah there are some Seiko quartz with sweeping seconds, but as I stated above there has, from time to time, been replica quartz fitted with the step up that also sweep. I know TTK sold a few but the best bet would be to ask a dealer about them and I have a hunch that Narikka should be the first on your list. Ken

There are, they use a step up motor to give a sweeping second hand but it has a negative side in that it drains the battery very quickly. Ken

I just finished watching one of the funniest episodes (to me anyway) of Top Gear. Lots of good stuff but the best is when the boys head off to Miami where they each had to buy a vehicle for under $1,000. Once purchased the Stig tested each in hot laps at the national race track and then the team had to drive them to Louisiana. On the way they were given cards telling them what activity they had to do next, at one point they were told to decorate their cars in fluro paint with slogans. They had... Country and Western is rubbish. Hillary for President. Nascar sucks. and in bright pink... Man love rules OK And then they drove into Alabama.... These guys do many dangerous things with cars but this was the most dangerous thing I have ever seen them do with people. It got very dicey, especially when they had to stop for fuel, but talk about LMAO (from the safety of my lounge room of course)...great program that I find myself waiting all week for. Ken

Am watching the USA Vs Canada hockey match right now. I have no idea if it is live or a delayed telecast, I just turned on the TV and there it was. The States have scored an early goal but it has been pretty tight since then. Ken Edit; now it's 2 USA 1 Canada but the Canadians seem to be doing most of the attacking.

If we can get away from these discussions of dealing, which are totally irrelevant anyway, we would like to try and confirm Neils well being or lack thereof. He was a character, enjoyed by some and disliked by others but he was also one of the longest serving member/dealer on the boards. If he has truly passed away many of us would like to pay our last respects. Ken

Ok we seem to be going off in different directions here. I said TTK was banned from dealing on this board, if people wanted to deal with him through private Emails that is really none of our business. Ken

Lets make this clear, we will welcome Neil back as a member but he is (and will stay) banned as a dealer. By all accounts that would hardly matter to Neil as I believe he got out of dealing before his operation anyway, but of course we have the means to stop anyone we want from dealing here, we would simply turn off PM privileges and as he is also banned from all the other forums that would effectively shut him down. @Baldrick we have all heard the TTK angle on what happened here, I just gave you the facts. Just a final word on TTK. The Admin team here never believed that he was a scammer, there may have been some in the end that didn't receive their watches but that was more of a personal FU from Neil than an attempt to get free dollars. We took the decision to suspend his trading as we saw problems arising due to his (at the time) illness, Neil unfortunately reacted badly to this and told our Admin in no uncertain terms what he could (and would) do if not immediately reinstated, hence his banning. Despite his brash nature Neil had many friends on this board, including our Admin and most of the team, however there are lines that should not be crossed... That said Neils problems were as a dealer and we would welcome him back at any time as a regular member. Ken

There was a guy who used to be a customer and very good chat buddy of mine, I thought his handle was Drakos but I have just checked our membership and he is not there. If anyone knows who I am talking about I know he had a very extensive collection which I wouldn't mind seeing some of. Ken
