  1. Depends Puggy because I don't see it as an outrageous example, the guys from Sept 11 were comfortably ensconced in the USA living normal lives as too the Madrid train bombers. But even then sleeper cells are not anywhere near as scarey as the home grown terrorist who were behind the London bombings and these might be the kind of people the cops were looking for. Ken
  2. I stand corrected...yes it is in fact the US site that I researched. Although as BT states above they are an American firm so I figured I had seen all they had. I think being Bulova means they would not be any good to us even if the cases were good as they would be priced to high to start with. Ken
  3. You must have missed this bit Puggy... Ken
  4. And how, at this early stage, do we know that the info the police have doesn't point to one of these hippy groups as being an Al-Qaeda sleeper team? Just as an example. Ken
  5. Thanks buddy but the daughter has the flu so it was a bit of a hectic weekend. Ken
  6. Ok first up I believe these are as much replica watches as what you would buy off our collectors, certainly they are not models of Bulova that I have seen before and I have been right through the inventory (for a friend) on their home site. I think you will find they have simply been labeled Bulova to make them semi legal. That said if they were Bulova you would want to give them a wide berth as 99% of their watches are quartz. Ken
  7. After G W Bush nothing surprises me. Although #6 made me laugh out loud Ken
  8. Hi Tony, I'm afraid you've lost me, I can see by your IP that you are in the States but how do we know each other? Ken
  9. In the Southern Hemisphere our Football season is drawing to a close, finals next week. We could use some of those cheerleaders in our league though. Ken
  10. @Maxlove, we don't see enough of you around here, don't be a stranger Ken
  11. Ahh go suck an icypole... Kidding just kidding Ken
  12. Ok I don't want to sound establishment like here but it sounds to me like something big is going down ie; police have received inside info on......say.....a soon to be launched bombing attempt. At least I hope this is the case, otherwise it is a very disturbing situation. Ken
  13. Well the best way to do that is by not posting the link. Ken
  14. The problem with that Santos (apart from the bling) is that it's $449,500 more than I will ever spend on a watch. Ken
  15. Certainly it is a great story but I too await some pic's Ken
  16. All I'm saying is I have only just got the RWG rings back on track at considerable expense to myself, so I'm not touching this one. Ken
  17. I just spent a bit of time Googling around about this as it is largely not heard of in Oz. Quite literally if your kid super glued himself to anything here you had to take them to hospital to get them apart. Ken
  18. They sell this stuff? Well there you go, you learn something new every day. Ken
  19. Ok thiis going to be a little more difficult and requires you having replacement springbars, but I would try breaking the existing SB's out, getting a drill bit of the correct diameter and using your fingers reboring any traces of the glue out of the holes. Ken
  20. It also pays to remember that a big part of the policing of prices, done by the members, is far better than what we in the Admin team will ever be able to do. Ken
  21. Unfortunately guys the the limit needs to be $1500 for the simple reason that a few of our collectors have before offered watches over the 1K mark. Obviously we can't be expected to go through the set rules every time a collector sells above 1k. Ken
