  1. That's lot's of money for cheap quartz watches, you would do far better to follow Freddy's advice and read up on our forum and you will soon be on your way to getting much better for less. Welcome to RWG Ken
  2. This has happened to my shipments before and it has turned out on a number of occasions that someone working for the EMS agent.......*Important to note here that the EMS agent is the person who introduces your goods into the EMS system and not EMS as such*.....has stolen the goods, they usually catch them too once you complain. Regardless of this all supplier will replace without cost goods that don't make it out of China, a little know fact is that many goods stopped by Chinese customs are actually returned to the supplier. Contact your dealer. Ken
  3. A very warm welcome to RWG Talking of warm I suggest you go and have yourself a nice hot meal now, probably the last time you will have the money to buy one It's a fun hobby but it's all consuming. Ken

  5. Sounds like a rep to me but it would help if you could post a pic of the watch for us to see. Ken

  11. I remember when my girl was around 3 years old, I got home about 10pm after a 14hr work day to find she had an ear infection, we call the doctor who arrived around midnight but said there was not a lot we could do. Well the little one was still screaming at 1.30am and I said to the wife "that's it!" I picked her up bundled her into the car and we spent the rest of the night (up to 8am) at the hospital Tirage. So yeah I know what it is like and don't envy your night ahead. Ken

That's gotta be the funniest thing I have read this week.....made my day Seriously if people still want to know what I see in ABBA listen to the following clip of Chiquitita Crisp clean chords, running harmonies and of course the lovely vocals in general....warning though...listen to the clip don't look at the cheesy set up..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwrwBDycQFs Lets not forget how perfectly in unison these guys sing, ask any muscian and they will tell you that's no mean feat in itself. 15. 44 R is 54/38 Euro and thats what most Chinese suppliers use. Safest way is to give them your chest and waist measurements in inches and be prepared to take it to the tailor when it arrives. Ken
  16. Your thread was never pulled, we simply had some problems with a few subforums....for a very short period of time. Sometimes it pays to ask. Ken BTW here is your thread....... http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=77543

My.......or as ABBA would say MY MY.........I have hit a hornets nest here haven't I? Hey I'm willing to admit to being middle aged but that's not my attraction to ABBA, having played professionally for many years in Jazz, Big Band, Orchestral and as an amateur in my countries best A grade Brass Bands I am not without a modicum of musical appreciation. I love a very wide range of different musical styles but everything I love must have the basis of very good music, intonation is important as is chordal structure and ABBA has that in spades, lyrics are of less importance and this is a point that many miss, opera is loved the world over by millions who can't understand a word of what is sung. The Beatles were simplistic, even primitive, by today's standards but are still played to death on radio stations around the world, why? Because people want and love simple melodic tunes.....ever tried to whistle Bohemian Rhapsody? This is what ABBA also delivers. I said in the opening post that I am an ABBA fan, I don't have a problem admitting that I also like Air Supply (not sure about the gay comment as I don't connect sexually with bands) and the original Seekers, however I also have a big thing for Piotr Ilyitch Tchaikovsky and then almost everything in between....Billy Joel is another favourite....this was never meant to be a who is the best discussion.....I just wanted to know about a stage play and a movie...that has grossed over 2 Billion dollars worldwide thus far. Ken
  18. If we could pinpoint who these people are then yes we would ban them but doing so is never easy. Ken
  19. Fozzie the best site is the one you are on right now, only with due diligence in reading through our forums will all become clear. I can pop up a couple of dealers names for you (even ones that ship from within the UK), but the only way to your personal contentment is to read what others have said about each one and the quality of the particular watches they have before you rush into buying. I have a confession to make.............I have always been a closet ABBA fan I have heard it said before that it takes a big man to admit he is an ABBA fan, yet when you talk super groups surly ABBA is right up there near the top? A figure that even I found surprising popped up the other day.....and I quote.. The takings from both the Movie and stage musical have been phenomenal which suggests I can't be the only guythat loves their songs. However I am still to see either of the above productions, a big reason for this is my wife (who grew up in Fiji) has never heard of ABBA and my daughter (still only 6) is only just starting to get the bug........could be because daddy is teaching her the songs. So anyway my question is who has seen either the stage play or the movie and just how good is it? Ken
  21. Not at all but he did shop around and buy a very nice MB. Ken
