    Very impressive. Ken
  3. Any comments? You mean like the fact that Josh and Andrew say they will supply them exclusively to RepGeeks at least until the new year? Ken
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Env4WWg0Avs A very Merry Christmas to you Don And of course to all here at RWG. Ken
  5. The average American takes 6 Months to pay off holiday credit card bills. There are currently 78 people name S. Claus and one named Kriss Kringle in the US. December is the most popular month for nose jobs. The weight of Santa's sleigh loaded with one beany baby for every kid on Earth....333,333 tons. The number of reindeer needed to pull the above sleigh...214,206......plus Rudolph. To deliver his gifts in one night Santa would need to make 822.6 visits a second.....might explain why nobody ever sees him. Ken

Rob all the best to you and your for the coming festive season and as you I will soon be taking 3 weeks quality time with my family so I know exactly where you are coming from. Ken
  7. Which of course is my whole point above. Ken
  8. The bugger has found my image shack pic's and he is lying about the $100 bit, nobody gets them off me that cheap. Ken
  9. We're in your blood my friend, you'll be back so I wont say bye I'll say until we meet again. Take care. Ken
  10. Beany whereas there is no excuse for any rude mails to customers I can assure the option of altering listings at this time of year is a bad one. Quite simply dealers have to decide whether to spend time up dating their sites or serve another customer, I know I have been running on 4 1/2 to 5hrs sleep every night for weeks and I still can't keep up. Yes I have to tell many that their selected item is in fact out of stock.......but I do it politely  Ken
  11. The view outside those windows is to die for. Ken
  12. I like mangoes, in my supermarket it costs around $2.50 for a mango, in Fiji where I met my wife I can buy a bucket full for 2 bucks but then it costs me about $3,000 every time I go to Fiji. What's the point in saying that Andrew sells a watch for over $100 which you picked up for $15 because unless you are flying back to China anytime soon you are not going to see those prices again. In fact if Andrew said to you ok watch cost $15 + $20 for me + $19 to ship so you can have for $54 but you take the risk of customs and no returns for faults, would you buy it? Or would you say to yourself the other $54 represents a good investment to see you get a good working watch? However when reps start pushing the $1,000 mark that i agree is over the top. Ken
  13. Yes if the punters pay the prices will stay high, that said $300 for a watch (any watch) with working chrono's is not a bad price. I know I have a pulsar TT quartz that set me back $500 Ken
  14. Wouldn't it be great if we could do an International meet. I know wishful thinking. Ken

    Proud Dad

Actually we do tend to agree to disagree where she gets her attributes from, although the music she gets from her Daddy..........oh and the swimming........my wife swims like a stone, straight to the bottom and rolls a bit if theres a slant. But without a doubt her beauty comes from her Mother. Ken
  16. Well this might be true in a very few cases but in general most of us didn't even know that a lot of the watches we buy existed before coming here. I think it is easier to just say 'We love timepieces' and be sure to note the plural because most of us are middle aged and probably could buy one or two gens, but hey at last count I think I had around 25 watches....case closed. Ken
  17. I got to 11 seconds before I got bored, that's got to be some kind of record in itself! Ken
  18. I have to admit I'm another who doesn't offer a lot of support, even to my good friends such as By-Tor or Pugwash, I justify this as only having enough spare time to quickly read through the topic's and not to post. But as I have just done now I'm sure I should find the time to offer encouragement. Ken
  19. Ok I'm late to this, but the biggest problem for Holland is that their postal system is now run by TNT and thus they can no longer be serviced by EMS. My supplier demands a postal fee to deliver to The Netherlands via TNT and will not (says cannot) use Reg Airmail. Ken
  20. Yes Dani many of us have. These thoughts are basically saying..."Get up and get on with it" Ken
  21. A token hit on a very small operation, nothing more. If this makes Hublot happy then they don't aim very high. Ken
  22. Just a quick note..... Anyone who questions slai's integrity is a bum. Ken
