  1. December 1st TO: ALL EMPLOYEES I'm happy to inform you that the company Christmas Party will take place on December 23rd at Luigi's Open Pit barbecue. There will be lots of spiked eggnog and a small band playing traditional carols...feel free to sing along. And don't be surprised if our CEO shows up dressed as Santa Claus to light the Christmas tree! Exchange of gifts among employees can be done at that time; however, no gift should be over $10. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Patty Lewis Human Resources Director December 2nd TO: ALL EMPLOYEES In no way was yesterday's memo intended to exclude our Jewish employees. We recognize that Hanukkah is an important holiday that often coincides with Christmas (though unfortunately not this year). However, from now on we're calling it our "Holiday Party." The same policy applies to employees who are celebrating Kwanzaa at this time. There will be no Christmas tree and no Christmas carols sung. Happy Holidays to you and your family. Patty Lewis Human Resources Director December 3rd TO: ALL EMPLOYEES Regarding the anonymous note I received from a member of Alcoholics Anonymous requesting a non-drinking table, I'm happy to accommodate this request, but don't forget, if I put a sign on the table that reads, "AA Only," you won't be anonymous anymore. In addition, forget about the gifts exchange-- no gifts will be allowed since the union members feel that $10 is too much money. Patty Lewis Human Researchers Director December 7th TO: ALL EMPLOYEES I've arranged for members of Overeaters Anonymous to sit farthest from the dessert buffet and pregnant women closest to the restrooms. Gays are allowed to sit with each other. Lesbians do not have to sit with the gay men; each will have their table. Yes, there will be a flower arrangement for the gay men's table. Happy now? Patty Lewis Human Racehorses Director December 9th TO: ALL EMPLOYEES People, people -- nothing sinister was intended by wanting our CEO to play Santa Claus! Even if the anagram of "Santa" does happen to be "Satan," there is no evil connotation to our own "little man in a red suit." Patty Lewis Human Ratraces December 10th TO: ALL EMPLOYEES Vegetarians -- I've had it with you people!! We're going to hold this party at Luigi's Open Pit whether you like it or not. You can just sit at the table farthest from the "grill of death," as you put it, and you'll get salad bar only, including hydroponic tomatoes. But, you know, tomatoes have feelings, too. They scream when you slice them. I've heard them scream. I'm hearing them right now... Ha! I hope you all have a rotten holiday! Drive drunk and die, you hear me? The Bitch from Hell December 14th TO: ALL EMPLOYEES I'm sure I speak for all of us in wishing Patty Lewis a speedy recovery from her stress-related illness. I'll continue to forward your cards to her at the sanitarium. In the meantime, management has decided to cancel our Holiday Party and give everyone the afternoon of the 23rd off with full pay. Terri Bishop Acting Human Resources Director
  2. Actually I have a problem with this and if it was my employer I would have no hesitation telling them so. I mean first the fact they want to know your every move during work hours seems a bit over the top to me, but what about after work and the weekends, your movements during these times is none of their business. Ken
  3. What do chickens grow on? Eggplants...............err Boom Boom Mind you to get chicks the eggplants have to be planted in... chick-ago Yeah I was just leaving Ken
  4. Avatar is working and although i know you date back to the old RWG I would still like to extend a warm welcome to our board...........Oh and G'day from another Aussie. Ken
  5. Excellent post Archie, yes we are trying to get our heads around this problem but it is not an easy one from an Administrative point of view so any member suggestions are more than welcome. Ken
  6. No no no my friend you have it all wrong, you are in fact paying for the entertainment, them bags of air and bubble wrap are meant to be popped. Ken
  7. Yes indeed TRL, when we moved I set about bringing the whole thread over with us (can't remember if I finished) but somewhere through the process I realised..............you just had to be there! Ken
  8. Well we know at least one guy clicked the link. Ken
  9. Ok I can now tell you that after going through a lot of suppliers I do have a very high quality Vertu copy, how good? My first buyer had it sent to a mate who owns an electronics repair shop, there he gave it the full workout and it passed with flying colours. Now the bad news they range from 800-1800MHz so they wont work in the US or Canada, but everywhere else in the world is fine. Ken
  10. I would have to say the SFSO although my personal favourite is the IWC GST, I can't rate the Big Bangs as one needs to factor cost and quite simply for the money that was asked for them they should have been far superior. Ken
  11. Oh well after two to three years it's far too late for me to change it now.....nobody would know me. Ken
  12. What I find surprising is that the rep refill is still being made that slight bit different from the gen after all this time (I can remember this same discussion from over 2 years ago), in a way it seems a bit like the 1:1 Sub it just ain't gonna happen. Ken
  13. Try this..... http://www.replicacollector.com/members/index.php? Ken
  14. Funniest thing I read all week. Ken
  15. Yeah first up I see her going clockwise but can flip her easily. Ken
  16. I like this thread, it gives the Admin team a list of all the words we still need to censor. Ken
  17. Um what about a card or a short note to go with it, I mean I know you would add something that says "from your friends at RWG" but what about a little extra like "A thank you for your many years of giving". Certainly I don't think we should add anything about hoping to change his mind as that is a little tacky. Ken
  18. Gotta thank you for this Prince, last night I sat the pipsqueak down to part 1 of Bee movie, a movie she wanted to see but we couldn't get the free time before Christmas to take her. The best thing is there is still 3 more parts to watch when she has free time. Ken
  19. Me? I'm just a watch lover and that leaves me no room to compartmentalize my tastes, if I see a watch I like (and I am in the right financial position) I buy it, be it classic, modern or fantasy. Ken
  20. Well this one will take some beating. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=338019 Ken
  21. To me it looks far superior to the Big Bang. Ken
  22. By waterproof do you mean 'Pour a little in a glass with water and taste?' Ken
