Oh, just make sure you get LokTite adhesive #2053. Anything else will corrode and wreck the watch. The more you read this the more your realize I am full of crap. Just giving you a hard time man, lol.

So far I have no real probs with the A7750. I will however get a few pieces serviced including my HBB. Damn, this forces me to buy as many reps as I can in the next couple of years I'm going to go broke.

I was all gung ho about purchasing a IWC Aquatimer Cousteau from Joshua or Andrew. I decided that I was going to make the purchase the following day. When I went to check the watch on Joshua's site, the price jumped from $758 to $1058. Holy S#it that is a big jump!! I e-mailed Joshua and asked what the deal was and he said that Swiss Eta 7750 movements increased in price from the manufactures by $300. If this is true, most models that I was eager to purchase in Swiss have suddenly become unfeasable for me. All Asia 7750 pricing will remain the same.

I believe that the watch is heavier than the Subs and YM's. I am not going to bother with the loctite (yes it is a super adhesive primarily for metal threading applications) since I just ordered a gen rubber strap of Ebay. I got it for $69 which I think is a pretty good deal. I am going to order the fish along with a IWC Cousteau Diver (which is out of stock everywhere).

The funny thing is that because he claimed to be a jeweler, makes it believable that he knew that it was a rep. I think that most people that buy an expensive gen watch do not know all the intricacies in comparison to a rep unless they are a collector, a member of these forums or own the same piece. I have a Navtimer GMT World with a gen leather strap and showed it to one of my co-workers who owns a gen Bentley GT. He looked and held my watch, rotated the bezel, looked at the back, and said "wow, it's really nice man". His dad actually owns the company and is an avid collector. He too looked at my watch and commented how nice it was. I don't know if he knew it was rep and just wanted to save me the embarrisment, or honestly did not know it was a rep. I own lots of expensive gen suits and watches, and everyone just assumes that I have a watch fetish and own all gens. Only my friends and family know I just fell into the rep world craze!!

The temptation is too high I will be buying both. Just ordered a gen rubber strap for the fish from ebay.

My Navtimer GMT World I bought off Joshua is losing about 5 minutes a day. Is there any way to correct accuracy, or do I have to get the watch serviced?

Wednesday, the Ziggified PAM111H. I can't seem to take this one off!!

That is very cute!! She must have just adored it. -
I want to get in on the double sided AR too for Group Run 4 also. I have a Navtimer GMT World and Montblanc Timewalker I would like to do. Thanks

Ziggified PAM111H through the weekend. The Zigmeister is amazing!!!

Hi guys, I just got my PAM111H back from The Zigmeister and did a super-luminova and cannon pin upgrade. I just got a question for those of you whom have done this also. How long should you charge the lume for to get maximum stay power? How long does the glow last?

Do you tell people at work that you are wearing reps?
Jawo replied to Jawo's topic in General Discussion
I think this has lots to do with the environment you are in and the people you associate with. I work in an environment where people wear Armani and Boss suits. They follow fashion quite closely and immediately notice a new fashion ensemble immediately. They say, "man that is a nice watch". "How much?" Where did you get it? They are not enthusiasts enough to know the subtle flaws reps have like bezel alignment or wrong recessed date fonts, but know the name and can respect the look and quality. I have never had anyone at work ask me if my watches are real or reps, so I don't outright say that I am wearing a rep. They think I am nuts to spend so much money on watches. When they ask me how much, I just tell them that some like this one goes for around $5000 on Ebay. They don't question any further. I have a guy at work here that has a gen Navtimer Bentley. He took my Navtimer World GMT with gen strap, and said it was a really nice watch and liked the color. He never noticed the lack of the AR or date font imperfections. I think it is just in our individual intricacies that make us so picky about our reps. The only time I have ever been called on a rep is an old Sub I got in NY Canal 5 years ago. I bet 7 out of 10 people that saw the watch asked if it was real. I had no problem telling them it was a rep. -
I have the Navtimer GMT World, and I love it. I bought it with a gen strap which gives it a much better look.
-
Darn, forgot about lume.

I have purchased 7 reps so far in the last 2 months. After analysing the watches, and reading through various threads, there are certain flaws that bug me more than others. For me, I think the biggest flaw I dislike is the Pearl alignment and quality on reps. I own a few models that have pearls like the PO, Chronomat Evo, SMP Chrono. Just want to know what bugs you guys the most about reps in general.

Do you guys tell people at your work that you are wearing a rep?

Fullswiss = Blufakes cartel Absolute scammers and I hope they burn in hell!!

Wore this all throughout Vegas. Here is a pic I snapped in front of NYNY And one of Paris

That is one hell of a beautiful watch. Looks very tempting to be my next pick.

Since rep collecting, do you find yourself peeking more at what other's wear? I just got back from Vegas and since getting there, I could not help but to stare at what other people were wearing. I must say that for the City that Never Sleeps, most people I peeked at were wearing no watches, or cheap gold, diamond (super bling bling), or Casio's. Went to a bar called the Tryst, and now we are talking dressed to impress. After waiting in line for 1 1/2 hours, I had to flip the bouncer $200 USD just to get in. I didn't know what all the hype was about, because I rented a limo and asked the driver to take me to the hottest night club in Vegas. He said "bring lots of cash, and be prepared to be impressed. Well, I saw Snoop Dog there and the hottest women on the planet. Every guy was wearing super watches. Hard to tell cause of the lighting, but all looked very expensive. I had to people comment on my HBB when I was getting drinks at the bar. Many people recognised it during my 5 day stay. No one knows what it is in Canada. I guess there is a big culture gap between Calgary and Vegas. De La Hoya and Mayweather are scheduled to fight tonight, hence all the celebs and people. I have never seen so many gorgeous women and watches gathered in one place at one time. I got offered a couple of tickets at the bar for the fight. The price tag? $3500 a piece. No thanks!! Could get myself an arsenal of reps for that kind of dough.

Sorry bout that. The slide ruler is quite accurate. Glad you mentioned that. From the top of the ruler to the bottom (6 o'clock), it seems to me out by 1/2 a marker. Very hard to notice, but it is there.

Well this is my first attempt at a review. I don't have the photo savvy or technical knowledge of you veterans. I am still a noob when it comes to reps, and movements for that matter. I purchased this Navtimer World from Joshua (Perfect-Clones) a couple of months ago. It features a huge 47mm case diameter and is a whopping 17mm thick. The bezel is a sliding guide ruler for speed calculations. The movement of the bezel is smooth and feels great. It is not to loose and not too tight. It doesn't have that clicking or ratcheting feel like some of the other chronos. Let's compare the rep to the gen: Picture courtesy of Perfect Clones The color is very accurate as depicted by the above Perfect-Clones picture. The GMT is fully functional and is probably driven by an extra gear in the movement. So far after 2 months, the watch runs like a dream. It seems to run fast about +15 secs a day which is really no biggie. There are only 2 noticible differences by looking directly at the watch. The date font of course is much larger on the gen pictured to the right, where as the rep uses the typical Asia 7750 font. The font wheel is also recessed in the rep. The Breitling logo and GMT 24hr markers are also a much brighter and more true gold color vs the rep which has a slightly darker color. The lume on the rep is a white color simular to that of the gen. The rep came with a SS polished bracelet which feels really nice with a good weight. Many reps feature a flimsy clasp, but this one feels really well made and substantial. The markings on the back of the clasp are identical, as well as the shape of the clasp itself. The bracelet has incredible engraved markings simular to those found on the Chronomat Evolution. The most impressive thing about the rep are the markings on the back. The engraving is absolutely excellent quality and stunning to look at. The markings feature all the timezones in the world to help set your GMT marker which is adjustable at the pull of the first notch of the crown. I am very happy with the Navtimer World GMT, and the only real complaint I have about it is the lack of AR. As indicated by some of you, it is easy to spot a rep when there is no AR on it. Which makes sense since Breitling's are used by professionals who rely on readibility and legibility like pilots and pro drivers. Since I bought this rep, I went on Ebay and purchased a gen blue leather strap. The strap cost me a $150 but really adds to the look of the watch. I alternate between the ss bracelet and leather strap depending on how I feel. Well there you have it, my noob attempt at a quick review. Sorry It wasn't very detailed, but my wife gave me only half an hour to do it. It was 1AM when it put it together. I look forward to doing more reviews and get better at it I hope with a little help and advice from you. Thanks for viewing

Thank you very much!! That did the trick. Looks much better now. Only took me 1/2 hour to do. Would have been 15 mins, but I dropped the stupid little tiny screw on the ground. Don't ever do that!!
