  1. I just received my Omega SMP Chrono from Andrew today. The watch is absolutely beautiful, but I got 1 slight problem. Under the crystal and on the dial, there is some lint. I don't know about you but this is going to drive me batty. Is there any way I can fix this myself without sending the watch out to someone?

Rita - Owner Contact me directly at rh@kateship.com or #011-01-714-200-6917 The phone number goes to some Hispanic guy with no indication of a company name, and the voicemail is full. The bank that the money is supposed to be wired to, does not exist. No Centennial bank at the indicated location. There is a routing number which indicates that the money is redirected through different channels. The money ends up at a prepaid debit/credit card company. The funds are withdrawn as soon as the money is deposited. By the time a victim, tries to trace the direction of the funds, the money is withdrawn. Routing systems are designed to throw off traces of the funds. You will not get any return e-mail or communication afterwards. When you call "Chad" at their business line, once you inquire about your order, he will hang up on you. He will just shut off his cell phone. It is up to you guys to either believe me or not. It doesn't matter. I was a victim and got my money back. The whole purpose of joining these forums was to obtain knowledge and advice to make wise purchase decisions and to share a common passion. No one wants to get ripped off. I share this info in hope that people do not get ripped off by these scammers.
  3. This is the problem Teejay, most people that order from Bluefakes never receive any kind of product. You place a credit card order with them, they send you an e-mail a couple of days later indicating that they do not accept credit card orders for Canadian or International customers. They request that a wire transfer be done instead. The info they give you for the wire, contains multiple routing implementations and money gets routed 4-5 times. People don't get any product, period. I agree with you Teejay about the perceived value of what you buy. This is what makes the world go round. If you think it is worth what you have paid for, then you will be content with your purchase. I am in sales so I know all about that. This however is not the case. These sites are out there purposely to rip you off. I want to make people aware of them and forewarn any newbies to the rep world. Thank god for these forums which helped me from getting completely scammed too.
  4. Bluefakes and all their companies are a complete scam, period. The specs on their watches are non existant, and they grade their replicas. Just try calling their 1-800 number. You will be lucky to get anyone on the phone at all. If you do, it will be some idiot named Chad. Ask him a few questions about reps. He doesn't know jack. There are multiple people that got scammed by these guys, and that is a fact. Hundreds of people for that matter. If their financial institution knows they are commiting fraud, and have frozen their accounts, that is something to be said. Teejay, it is funny how you are one of the biggest bashers of the cartel but defend rep companies that sell $800+ watches. I have yet to see 1 legitimate claim of a good dealing or satisfied customer with bluefakes. They are 0 for 7 with the BBB and all their requests to have dispute resolutions turn unanswered. I dare you to buy a watch from bluefakes.
  5. You will probably get something like this:
  6. This site is by far the biggest ripoff site out there. Fake specs, outrageous prices, bogus policies, bogus review sites, the list goes on and on. I am just astonished how this site can keep running. I go back to this site from time to time and get a good laugh. It is so easy to see how someone new to reps can get ripped off by them. They own a few sites all of which are scam sites. A fair warning to all noobs. Bluefakes Fullswiss Zenith Motor Redhotwatch Bestswiss Bogus review sites: Fake Reviews Replica Inspector I hope these guys burn in hell
  7. This is why I plan to send my 111H for a The Zigmeister bath once he gets back from his sabbatical. I don't trust doing intricate work like tearing apart a watch or painting a very small object. I would cry if I screwed it up
  8. There are 2 watches on Andrew's site. This one is the Asian Unitas 6497 Movement This one is the Swiss Unitas 6497 Movement I assume that the circled portion is the swan regulator. Am I correct about this?
  9. Ken just added some super sweet Mont Blanc cufflinks at the TRC. They come with cufflinks so I think it's a spectacular deal. I don't mind buying the 10 pairs at that price. You can never have enough cufflinks
  10. The week is gonna start out wih the Chrono Evo.
  11. I bought one from Josh and it has the new serif font. The watch feels very substantial and looks great!!
  12. You are lucky, I had to read it 5-6 times.
  13. If you have purchases watches from him, he will send you an e-mail with his new web addy. He has given the link to everyone in his entire customer database.

    Fake BBs

Hi M8, I think you should remove the link. This forum is monitored closely, so we don't want to draw too much attention. I made the same mistake earlier by posting a simular link about the HBB/TZ thread.

LOL, be nice. My wife bought it for me on our first anniversary. I wasn't too sure about it at first, but it has grown on me. Maybe it's the sentimental significance of the watch though. It's a bad pic, the watch has a 42mm case and full SS bracelet. It's actually kinda nice.

These are how my screws are currently lined up on my HBB. I don't know if this is how they are supposed to be, but I think it looks alright.

    HBB Review

Wow, my head is pounding after that!! I appreciate the time you took just to slam me. No, I have never held an AP but I still think they are ugly. What I meant by subtle is that Bentley is subtly printed on the watch. But you know it's still Breitling. I own a gen Concord, Oris and Fendi. So I have a bit of experience with luxury watches. My Aunt has 6 gen Rolexes and I admire them very much, but could never afford to own a real Daytona. I am new to the rep world and never knew that high quality reps existed until a month ago. I have so far bought 6 reps..MB Timewalker, Breitling Nav World, Breitling Chronomat Evo, PAM111H, Omega SMP Chrono, and the HBB. I love watches, and could afford to buy a couple of gens each year, but the reps make my dollar stretch much further. I have a nice watch repair kit which contain all the proper tools to tighten all the screws on the watch. I did not come to this forum for a debate about which watches I find butt ugly. I came to get expert advice and to share my passion for the love of watches. I know you have a lot of experience and knowledge and I look forward to your contributions. I love the HBB for the style. I never said anything about it's construction. Otherwise I would not have purchased any watch with a Asia 7750 movement. I started this thread to show my appriciation for this watch with others. Most have also showed simular interest. I will surely not jack any thread that you post with blatent disregard and negative connotations and I wish you would show the same courtesy.

I think they are hot!!! I like the guy in the pink. Hey, wait a second... Isn't he wearing a Ferrari watch? Hahaha, JK

The funny thing is that I think most AP's are ugly. Even though the HBB share a simular design. The HBB to me looks contemparary and different. The watch may not have a heritage, but all watches started from somewhere. The HBB has won numberous awards for its daring and bold styling. I too find the Ferrari watches kinda cheezy envolking people to think that Ferrari makes a watch. I like the Breitling Bentley because it is subtle, and the watch is still reminisant of being Breitling. We all have opinions and I still think that most of the AP's look like cheap Seiko's with an octagon bezel. I love the HBB, and find it stunning to look at. Most people I have shown the watch to have never heard of Hublot so you are right about the heritage thing, but everyone loved the look of it.

You will see that in pictures of the actual HBB, that there is both a polished and ceramic bezel. I have looked at many HBB reviews of the rep model that Andrew and Josh supply. The HBB ceramic bezel has undergone a few cosmetic changes since it's introduction in 2005. The center pin that holds the chrono hand came either polished stainless steel or painted red. You will see that the bezel is brushed and not polished. I actually prefer the brushed since the polished looks like painted stainless steel and attracts less fingerprints.
