  1. Sorry, but it appears I do not have privilages to modify or edit my posts.
  2. Oops, didn't realize. Sorry, noob mistake. Please delete if it is a concern.
  3. HBB owners are on this forum and posted a thread in reference to the HBB reps that are emerging on the market. They have genuine concerns about the quality of the reps and some people could not even tell the difference by looking at the pics. Link removed to avoid attention to this forum.

All you need are one of these: Watch Repair Kit Picked it up from Ebay for $8.99. It comes with the bezel screw tool. I just tightened all the screws up on the bezel when I got the watch. I think this kit is an absolute must for all rep owners. All the basic tools are there. It comes with a watch holder, precision hammer, link remover, precision screwdriver set, back case opener, Rolex style back case removal tool etc... Very good investment IMO.

The outside surface on the bezel is highly polished on the side. The top surface of the bezel itself is brushed, but not rough looking.

It does have a serial number on the back of the case. Whether it is individual, I do not know. Not likely though.
  7. Got this on today, and will be prob glued to my wrist for the next week.
  8. Well, I just got in my Hublot Big Bang w/Ceramic Bezel today from Andrew. I was in eager anticipation peeling back all the bubble wrapping and protective film trying to catch a glimpse. When I got it opened, my eyes were in shock. What a beautiful stunning piece of art. The details of the watch literally sets a new standard for reps. After spending a good chunk of change for this thing, I was worried it would not live up to the hype. Well, I was wrong. This watch has exceeded all my expectations and more. I compared this thing to the gen on Hublot's website, and this watch is very accurate. The brush and polished SS case is very high quality. The dial has a checkered ceramic look like the gen. I was not sure if spending the extra for the ceramic bezel was worth it, but it adds such a distinctive character to the watch. The strap is very comfortable and very easy to adjust. I was worried about a stinky smell of the rubber strap on my wrist, but after 12 hours of wearing this watch, no rubber smell whatsoever. The display back has the same look as the original with the spiral carbon looking rotor. It looks fantastic for an Asian 7750 movement (I just hope the reliability will stand up to the looks), much nicer than my Mont Blanc Timewalker. The verdict is that despite the heafty pricetag for a rep, I think it is worth any penny and my new favorite watch.
  9. That is such a sweet looking watch!! Congrats
  10. I like Hangela myself.
  11. I jost bought one of these from Andrew, and has been shipped. I worked out a good deal with him, but still kinda pricey. Not so bad cause I used to be a heavy gambler. So $600 isn't that bad when I used to drop that on a hand of BJ. I will post pics and a review when I get it. I jost bought one of these from Andrew, and has been shipped. 12. Just watch movies. There must be analysts that dress dudes in the movies. James Bond always looks cool. Look at the guys in chick flick movies. The guys are dressed to please. I don't think there is a right or wrong as long as you get admiration for your selection. It's kinda like asking what type of tie you should wear to a formal event. Solid or striped.
  13. I tell everyone that my watches are reps. And you guys are right about the reaction thing. Opposed to the gen, I think the thought that the watches I wear are reps, magnify their reaction by X10. I think it is much more enjoyable discussing reps on a forum than an actual gen. I think there is much more to discuss about reps then it is to talk about gens.
  14. Okay, I bit the bullet and ordered this one from HKTan Ordered it in 24/22mm (115/75). I think I have the sizing right for a PAM111G. My wrist size is 7.25". This is according to research I did on these forums. If I screwed up somewhere, please feel free to elaborate.
  15. I just bought 1 from Andrew and worked out a deal with him. I would wait for a group buy, but I don't have the patience I want it now, hehe. I don't care if the price is high, it's the hottest thing out right now. How many of you guys bought an HDTV when they first came out? They are now 1/4 of the price. Just depends on how long you want to wait I guess.
  16. I think your watch is screwed. Try to uncrew the crown, pull couple of notches out then screw back in. I think this warrants a job for The Zigmeister.
  17. Are the straps that come with the PAN reps absolutely crap? I am tossed on whether or not to invest in another strap from Hktan or not. I just bought a PAM111G.
  18. I friggin hate UPS. They are the biggest ripoffs of all!!! Brokerage fees based on a value scale to clear customs. What kind of [censored] is that?
  19. Got this on today
  20. It may happen, but not to the degree of Japanese cars. They might have the ability to make some fine watches, but everything about it's product's marketing. There is something just not appealing about a "Chinese" luxury watch. China manufactures way more common goods that any of us can imagine. They manufacture for other companies' products. Many famous clothing lines, computer parts/media, furtiture items, toys etc.. are made in China. They have the knowhow in building and design, but no clue how to market it. It took many decades for Chinese film industry just to correctly market their movies to the US. They have become the second largest economic superpower in the world and would easily take out the US if they had proper marketing and retail knowhow. Just think of this for a moment; a Swiss copy movement made in China, or an authentic Chinese movement? Most would consider the word "Swiss" a better buy.
  21. Son of a [censored]!!! I was going to need a pair of depends after that. The kicker is that after the FBI flash screen, my Internet Explorer crashed to desktop. It did it everyime I tried to access the forum. I installed Firefox and after the intro screen, I breathed a big sigh of relief.
  22. Got this on today with gen leather strap.
  23. Well, it looks like bluefakes have found a new host. They were down for the last few days, but back and up again. I imagine not for long when they get nailed
  24. Back earlier this month, I bought a Daytona off Bluefakes being oblivious to the rep world. They got me to send them a wire payment since they did not accept credit cards. After getting treated like [censored] from "Chad" I felt very uneasy with the purchase after I did the wire transfer. I found this fourum and verified my suspicions. I thought that my money was lost forever, $1100 of it. This past month has been a very tough journey. I have spoken with the FTC, BBB, RCMP, security and fraud commisioners/agents. I am extremely persistant when it comes to getting screwed. I am happy to let you know that several of Bluefakes bank accounts have been frozen. They are under full investigation and 2 of their websites have been shut down. I have just got my wire transfer refunded in full, after a constant stream of messages and communication with the right people. Despite what forums and members have been saying about Andrew and Joshua, I think they are a blessing compared to these [censored]ing crooks. This is what I know of the bluefakes enterprise: - Bluefakes, Fullswiss, Zenithmotor, Redhotwatch and fakereviews.com are all the same scammers. - They operate from cell phones - Once the money is wired from your bank, the funds go through multiple channels and ABA routing to a prepaid credit/debit card company where they immediatlely withdrawl money once the account is credited. - It is hard for a victim to track or reverse the funds since so many channels are used. - bluefakes owner's names may include Rita Harris, Linda Harris, Caroline Hand. All of which are probably fake. It is very nice to see justice being served. These crooks might be hard to chase down, and eventually might lead them to open more scam websites. Buyer beware should be emphasized more than ever.
  25. I'm not really offended at all. My experience is that "noobs" typically receive some grief from veteran forum members. For the most part, forum members are usually good people. I understand that the views and opinions expressed on this thread are solely for the protection of the members of this forum. I think the venting is necessary. Some pretty nasty things were said from this today, and I think that rep dealers really need to take this seriously. I don't like getting screwed anymore than anyone else.
