I am not a huge fan of gold, but I must admit the color of this watch is quite stunning. Looks coppery which I like. Ditto on the 001 serial number. It kinda screams rep if anyone looks at the caseback. I will grab one if they change the bloody date wheel and update the serial.

Chris Benoit is the name of the wrestler in question. It is an absolute tragedy to what has happened. Benoit is very closely tied to the Hart wrestling family where they faced tragedy also with the death of Owen Hart in a Pay Per View event some years back. I grew up watching the Harts and Benoit as wrestling was very big in Calgary. You could say that the foundation of professional wrestling began here. I personally know the Harts and they are great people. Brian Pillman another Calgarian wrestler also died 10 years back due to heart failure. Davey Boy Smith (The British Bulldog) who was also a close friend of Benoit and the Harts also died 5 years back while vacationing. Davey loved to wear very nice and expensive watches. I have seen him wear Both AP, Rolex and Breitling watches totally iced out. I think that Alberta based wrestlers are cursed with tragedy and death unfortunately.

They are both shills guaranteed. If you buy from bluefakes, you are guaranteed to get ripped off. Shill is probably this idiot named Chad. Petty thugs is what they are.

I have purchased.....um.....errr....crap, a lot of suits off Ken. Many for my friends and family members. I personally own 6 of Ken's suits. I can honestly say that the quality is fantastic. Much more than what you would expect for $150. When I order them I just give my waist and chest measurements. Like Ken said, I just bring them to a competent tailor to do some minor alterations. They look fantastic. I own gen Armani, Boss, Zegna, Paul Smith and Ralph Lauren suits. Yes, the gens are for sure better quality, but no different than rep watches. But then again, this is why it is nice to pay $150 for a rep and not $1000 - $3000 for the real deal. The key is to stretch out your dollar. Unless you collect brand name suits, you can't really tell the difference. They truly are that good!! Check out my review at TRC under Bergies Belts. My alias there is Drakos.

I know the Steelfish is supposed to be resistant up to 1000 ft according to our cartel friends. Joshua waterproofed my PO to 5 bars so I should be good there too. I love both watches.

I heard that if I declare the watches in Canada of which I am taking with me, I should not have a problem coming back. Is this correct?

I am going on a Royal Carribean cruise in a few weeks time. I will be headed to Jamaica, Haiti, Cozemel and a few more other places. From what I hear, the evening events are dressy so I need a couple of watches to impress. The daytime excursions I picked our are mainly water themed. I need to pick 3 watches to take down with me. I need 2 dress watches and 1 beach/water watch. This is an unbelivably hard decision for me. I have narrowed it down to the top 15 of the 25 reps I own. I really value the input of this forum and would like your opinions. Please state the reasoning for your selections. Thanks

Joshua waterproofed mine for free with a large watch order. I have gone skuba diving 30ft with it and dipped in the hot tub. As waterproof as can be.

There is no question that super reps are getting more expensive. It is for sure a definite that people are willing to spend the big bucks to get them. I have a few super reps in my collection and know for sure that it will be a matter of time before I see problems with them. Thank god for guys like The Zigmeister that give our reps a chance at longevity. His servicing price is very reasonable in comparison with the going rates. I just bought a Swiss Valjoux 7750 movement on Ebay for $160. The Zigmeister will do a servicing and transplant to my IWC Cousteau Diver in July. I see no reason why this rep won't last 5-10 years. I am trying to get more of these movements for my other reps like the HBB and CMP Chrono. For those of you that think that these reps will be around for sale in the next 5 years might be overzealous. Virtually the whole rest of the world is putting heavy pressure against China to stop copyright infringement. I guess only time will tell.

Ditto that!! Joshua's site is painfully slow. It's like browsing with a 56K modem all over again

I have ordered many reps between Joshua and Andrew. I wanted to try and stick to one over the other in order to negotiate better deals. I bought 2 watches from both Andrew and Joshua last Thursday to see who would get the watches out quicker. The results? Joshua's watches arrived today. Unbelievably quick. Andrew's? Stuck in China still and haven't been shipped. It looks like Joshua will be getting more of my business.

There has been a lot of input to as the misalignment of the inner bezel of the Cousteau Diver. Just wondering if anyone has attempted to correct this? Has anyone removed the movement to see if correcting the bezel is possible?

Thanks for the suggestions. Question though..I noticed that the upgraded Gran Turismo GT has a Asia 7750 movement in it. Isn't this movement mainly for chrono watches? Why does it use a 7750 movement and not a ETA 2836-2 instead? Is there something special about this watch that requires it to use a 7750 movement?

The watch is actually starting to hold time now that it is on my wrist. Maybe it needed to be broken in, dunno. I just thing the manual winding is working. I have received over a dozen watches from Joshua, and I think there is a degree of quality control from him. I know that if I have any problems, I can count on him to give me great service. I booked 3 slots with The Zigmeister for servicing in July. I bought a gen Swiss ETA 7750 movement from Ebay for $160 that I plan to use for a transplant for the IWC.

I just received my Costeau Diver from Joshua today. Like many others, the bezel is off. Aside from that, the AR is great and there is no dust beneath the crystal. I big prob though. The watch does not seem to hold a reserve. I tried to manually wind it, about 40 turns. I tried to shake it for a few mins. The longest it has kept running for is half an hour. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a trick to winding the watch? I think I am doing it correctly. I unscrew the crown to the first notch and wind it. Any ideas? Some advice and help would be appreciated.

Just gonna send it back to Joshua. Thinking of upgrading to a Perfect Sub. I think this is a much better choice.

Unfortunately No I did not realize. Is it broken?

I was so excited to see the new reps I bought from Joshua. They finally came in today, and I scrambled to unwrap them (always feels like Christmas). The first was my IWC Aquatimer Cousteau. Absolutely gorgeous!! Yes, the bezel was not perfect, but the rest was. Date alignment was very good, no scratches, no lint under crystal. The second rep was the SFSO in black dial. Friggin awesome!! Absolutely gorgeous, nice bracelet, AR, and overall look and feel. The final? A Daytona w/seconds @6. Yeah, I know. I could not help but to buy one. I love the style and despite what people have criticised about the movement, I decided to pick on up. When I unwrapped it, I was fairly impressed with the look. The feel however, was unsubstantial in comparison with the rest of my other reps. Despite that, the watch was ticking and everything looked fairly good. I tried the chronos to see if they were working. BIG MISTAKE!!! :yucky: When I went to stop and reset the chrono, the hand stoped at the 1 o'clock position. I went to start and stop again, and this time it was near the 2 o'clock position. Ah, S#!T. I can't for the life of me seem to get it back to 12. This has become an absolute buyer's remorse situation for me. I should have bought another PAM!!! If any of you have a solution to this problem, please let me know.

I take the word "Perfect" or "Ultimate" all in stride. I haven't been here on the forums very long, but have learned enough from all of you that there is no such thing as a perfect rep. I have collected over a dozen reps since joining these forums, and have never expected them to be exactly like the gens. I agree that the word "Ultimate" is quite different than the word "Perfect", although some reps refer to the "Ultimate" as the closest to the gen. This is almost a way of grading reps which is a no no from what I have learned. It is simply a marketing tool that the vendors use to sell more product. I don't think there is anything wrong with it as long as everyone takes these terms not too literally. Maybe the vendors should label same model reps as A, B or C, but that would make it no different as "Beginner", "Perfect" or "Ultimate". I just use these terms to distinguish between the quality and accuracy of the reps, not taking it too seriously as a pure "1:1" to the gen. All I can say is that we are buying "reps", so I don't expect absolute perfection. If I did, I would be buying the gen. I don't believe pearl, bezel alignment, datefont, AR, lume or multiple other details will be drastically improved upon anytime soon. There will always be flaws in the reps, but that is part of the fun trying to spot them. It's only us here on the forums that become so anal when it comes to little details and accuracy. I think it would take a lot of interest out of these forums if every rep were "perfect".

Could you please post all members who have reserved slots for run 4? I think I put my name in for a couple of slots, so I just wanted to double check.

I am so regreting I bought this watch based on the issues stated. The watch is on its way from Joshua and I prey that there won't be as many problems. I can deal with the dust since I have tools to remove the case and the movement should be fairly easy to take out. I light burst of air from an air can should do the trick. Something I won't be able to get over though is the damn misaligned bezel. Nothing drives me more nuts. This is the pic from Joshua's site: The bezel looks spot on here. I think that what you see is what you should get. It is not an unreasonable expectation. Especially from a so called "Super Rep."
