thankfully the stock ar is already very good (on the blacksteel anyway). i'm just one of those weirdos that wants all my watches to have chief's ar. i don't feel bad because i know i'm not the only one! lol.

between this and lani's post, i think we have all the information we need. my dssd is with the zigmeister right now. after the crystal returns from the latest chief ar run, he is going to do the bezel mod for me. i can't wait to see the results!

i feel your pain. i got the same message from the zigmeister today about my blacksteel. it sucks, but i trust his judgement.

this is a pam 108. it was a special edition of 100 units made in 2002. i think our dealers have it available on a leather or rubber strap as well, but the genuine comes on a bracelet (see below). all the best.

for members that do not know how to use this feature ... here is a pic i just made up showing where the actual paypal gift option is (see red arrow below). again, everything should be left blank except for the receivers e-mail address and the actual payment amount. you can include "happy birthday" or something in the subject line like ronin mentioned above, which isn't a bad idea actually. just do not make any mention of the goods you are purchasing. please note that this method does not show your shipping address so simply pm it to the member after payment is made. anyway, hopefully this will come in handy for some. all the best.

you'd probably have to post a picture (if possible) for a proper answer. with that being said, the 5004's come standard with double ar. it's just not as good as other models. sorry i couldn't have been more help. fyi, here's mine with a chief ar'd crystal ...

no problem goodfella. yes, i highly recommend having the lume done. it doesn't really effect the look of the watch in daylight as the lume is white, but in the dark it's awesome! regarding the chief ar crystal ... again, highly recommended but this is a choice of personal preference as the gen does not have ar. but to me, it's the ar is that makes the dial pop. regarding the timeline with the zigmeister ... you won't believe this but i had my watch back on my wrist in one week! lol. he kindly put a rush on it for me as i was in his neck of the woods. here are a few more pics ...
