  1. A comprehensive and detailed step-by-step that will certainly be beneficial to many here. I appreciated your generous post and value the information you presented.

    IWC Mark XVI

Maybe with the help from some of our new collectors this can happen.
  4. R, Everyone one needs a little time outside their comfort zone. Look on the bright side; you will be stepping out with your lady. You are certainly someone who takes the job at hand seriously. This shows in your painting and with every watch you painstakingly care for. This dancing thing will be a piece of cake for you. As others have said; relax and have fun.
  5. Beautiful work. I have some parts being prepared up north as we speak. They will be heading your way soon.
  6. Thank you. So what would be the correct term for what I need or part number?
  7. Greetings, This may be hard to explain so please bear with me. I am looking for a rubber bezel gasket that was originally part of a 16800 sub that I purchased this summer. If I am correct, this sub was built on a TW's best chasse. The gasket was removed when the bezel was taken off for an insert modification. The gasket was never put back on casing the bezel to rock slightly; a minor annoyance for this beautiful sub. I was told by the previous owner that this gasket my only be used on rep watches and not on the gen models. I certainly would appreciate any help I could get in identifying and locating this rubber gasket. Thank you. Looks something like this:
  8. that's a great looking 5512 you got there.
  9. Thanks so much B. I found there web page. Will I still need the height 2/C2 gasket for the WM9?
  10. You will find Clarks here: http://stores.ebay.com/Clark-Watch-Parts
  11. Greetings members: For those who have struggled with this same decision, please speak out. I suspect that in approx. one month I will have the new WM9 V2 sub in my possession. I can't leave well enough alone so I have already started looking for genuine parts. I already have a genuine insert but I thought a crystal swap was in order too. Do you really get enough extra bang for your buck with the gen crystal? or.... does the Clarks crystal delivery enough punch for the price? Thank you.
  12. Thank you freddy, We should all take time to enjoy life's simply pleasures and count our many blessings everyday. Peace
  13. Thank you for all the great information gang. Can any one answer number 3? 3) Has anyone had trouble attaching a 93250 to a WM9 16610?
  14. 1) Are the SELs on a 93250 bracelet specific to one particular Rolex model? I had a potential seller tell me that they would only fit a Sea dweller. 2) Is there a reference site that charts all the models and there bracelet partners? 3) Has anyone had trouble attaching a 93250 to a WM9 16610? Thank you, vlydog
  15. I received a watch once that was encased in a length of pipe insulation. You know, the foam-like stuff you buy at the hardware store used to wrap and insulate the pipes in your basement. Simply split it and make a sandwich with your watch; hold the mayo.
  16. Beautiful piece D, congratulations. It sure is trilling when they return home. Wear it in good health.
  17. I just spent the last half hour culling through old sales posts on TZ. I was looking for pictures as reference for my Zero project. I went as far back as May and there was not one with the L Swiss L dial but plenty with the L Swiss Made L. Can anyone tell me with what series the L Swiss L dial ceased?
  18. Hey guys, could you share the buyers ID? Is it on the bay? I just checked Bc Watchparts with no luck.
