  1. B, This project turned out great. I must admit that the DJ's are not my cup of tea but the gift of a watch is, IMO, the best gift a man can receive. The fact that all the parts were sourced and assembled with your brother in mind makes it the ultimate present.

  10. @ Stephane This one looks good on you. I never considered a carbon fiber strap for my 219 but after seeing this wrist shot I just might reconsider.

Greetings everyone, Let me first say thank you to a few kind members who have been generous with their time and knowledge those far. avitt dluddy fishgodeep PAMman peepshow rolli toomuchgear ubiquitous Over the last year I have been gathering parts that I want to use on two PAM projects that I hope to complete in the next six months. (my wife gave in) The above members have weighed in on this already so I am looking for some help from others to help me decide what to build next. 1) My only PAM at the moment is my beloved 219 destro on its way out for some final modifications; I hope. 2) My goal is to end up with three Panerai models: the 219, a base model with PVD or DLC and the third, a SS model with base dial and brushed crown guard. I would love to use one of Simon's dials in one of these projects. 3) along with two fabulous Tourby movements, these are the parts I have on hand: Jimmy case V 1:1 crown guard Full Alpha case t-60 ss crown Genuine crown; thanks to kruzer Davidsen crystal 000 dial and case back May I ask for suggestions on what you would build and the best possible recipe of parts.
