  1. I just spent the last few minutes trying on several new straps for my 3717. I love the deployment buckle but, no matter how hard I try or what set-up I use, it always feels uncomfortable. I have always placed the shorter side of the strap on the 12 o'clock lug side and the long side of the strap on the 6 o'clock lug side. I remember viewing a thread recently where a poster had it positioned the opposite way; so I tried it. It helped a bit but still uncomfortable. So now I have it on the tang buckle which provides a more comfortable fit. My question is this: Is there a right or wrong way to attach the strap to the lugs? My current set-up is short side 6/long side 12. Thanks
  2. Thanks for this post RobbieG. This is now marked as a "favorite" on my computer.
  3. BTW, I really don't care how many teeth they have so long as it fits properly. I agree with UJ. At the end of the day, who cares about how many teeth your crown has? Relax and be thankful. I am more concerned about my own teeth.
  4. This is an exceptional photo, Dani. What's you friends name?
  5. I was simply floored when I received my IWC GST back from Ziggy with its' newly installed 2nd generation cheiftang'd crystal. As many have posted before me, it looks like the watch has no crystal at all. (ask JoJo) So, I thought to my self, I need to have one of my PAM crystals coated with same amazing finish. Well, much to my surprise, I'm not sure if I like it on my 219. It has a look that is all together different from the crystal on my IWC. It is hard to explain but it does not have the

  13. Greeting from upstate, Hello to all who attended the RWG NYC GTG. What a great day and night! I would first like to personally thank Stephane for being the brain-child behind this special event and for helping me with the planning. Your hotel suite hospitality was top notch. Gratitude goes out to all of you for being there and for your generosity. There was literally a wealth of information exchanged and a chance to see some exquisite timepieces and make new friends. I would have posted this much earlier but I too was feeling a little under the weather. I think a got a bad ice cube. Best wishes, vlydog
