Hey.. I personally call it the "V4".. but that's my own term that i gave it. The dealers are still calling it "V3 hseries" or something stupid like that. It should be called the V4 since it's a completely new watch from a completely different factory than the last version (which of course was the "V3"). Another instance of dealers putting out bad information. anyways... You can get the watch from Angus at Puretime the site does seem to be down now.. but it was up yesterday. The watch is also available from Josh at Perfectclones and Andrew at Trustytime. It can also be obtained from Kingwatch and i think Mary (a newer dealer here) also has it available. Most places are selling it for about $230usd. which is cheaper than the previous V3!

Never met anyone with a modified lumed 253 yet. I'm assuming that one of the experienced lumers here could thicken out the numbers with a little greener colored lume.. The CG has no fix without heavy case modification. I know there's a member that has a gen CG available if anyone's interested shoot me a pm and i can ask him if it's still available. The only problem is that i'm sure it would require moderate modification to use on a rep case all of them have access to the new "V4" 212/253 that came out in march. Both watches are lookin pretty good

Thanks yousif. The strap can be bought from toscana straps (look on google). It's about 100usd if i remember. Gen straps can be bought on the bay usually..but they run about 250usd.. i got my gen strap for a 100usd from a member here on the forum. The pusher is hard to push in general.. but it's not an "issue" it just requires a firm press. When i mentioned that the cg hindered the pusher.. i was referring to my old V2.. The cg looked better than my current watch but completely hindered the chrono function. I haven't seen this as being an issue on the V3s that most people have. No one with the new "V4" has mentioned the cg hindering the chrono function either. I might have just had a bad watch. I know Lani has a V2(my blue stitched strrap was inspired by his 253) and he has never mentioned cg chrono problems with his 253. Anyways.. Not sur where The Zigmeister resides.. maybe someone else can help you out with that one. anymore questions don't hesitate to give me a shout or send me a PM! Good luck in your quest!

Just spoke with Andrew... the V4 comes from a completely different factory than the V3.. I wanted to buy a V4 CG from him... He said that it wouldn't fit. So i'm guessing the cases aren't identical. In my opinion and from what I've been seeing of the V4s.. they have the same thin numberals and both have numerals that are too lightly colored. Both have similar hobnail dials, and the subdial rings also look exactly the same. The only that appears different to me : 1. the CG (better on the V4) 2. the Caseback (h series engraving on caseback and better modded rotor screw son V4). For these 2 reasons.. and the price difference it would look like the v4 is a better buy.. but they are pretty much indistinguishable at a glance. I might be getting the v4.. just for the cg now! and do a movement/dial swap.

Rest assured?? There's plenty of watches with simple designs that have yet to be repped... and repped WELL... I wouldn't assume anything about this model.... It'd be great.. but i still wouldn't assume anything

yeah let's just see what happens. I don't wanna jump to any conclusions one way or the other. Hooky certainly knows his share on the history of the 253 and Ms. King reputation is quite good around these parts. We certainly can't reach any conclusions until PrDubis posts pictures of his piece once he receives it from China. swiss valjoux and all!

yeah... for real! You can understand our doubts though Jimmy!! NEVER has the 253 or 212 been available in sapphire except 4 years ago when they came out in the V1... And now all of the sudden, the dealers are saying they have "sapphire" but still no one on any forum anywhere has actually touched, seen or examined one of these supposed "sapphire" crystals. It also just so happens that as Offshore and I have been trying to organize a group buy for custom-cut sapphire crystals.. dealers have come out saying that they have sapphire.. which in turn is making some people unsure about whether or not they'd like to stay in on our group buy list. Me and offshore are looking into it right now.. obviously if the factories are fabricating a sapphire crystal we're interested in possibly purchasing some and using those instead of getting another factory to custom-cut crystals for us. There's a lot of confusion lately.. but I trust we'll get it sorted!

Pretty sure it's a UPO. Looks good. If i were you I'd invest in a stainless steel refinishing pad and go to town on your bracelet. But i'm obsessed like that! The first and most important for this watch is the Gen Crown Tube and Crown. This model is NOTORIOUS for the crown threads stripping. I think mine are on the way out.. Next most important is AR.. then comes the dial and bezel insert. p.s. I think only the bezel insert is changeable (with some modding). The gen bezel piece won't fit the UPO.
