  1. @hologramet - thank you for taking the time to answer and give feedback. I'm still a rookie around here and trying to learn. Always appreciate when another member actually responds to me. Good point in that I may be able to get a custom Explorer done. Perhaps with a used 14270 or 114270. Thanks again.
  2. Those pointed crown guards look insane. An amateur like myself is simply in awe of your work. Sorry to read that this will be the last of your personal builds. You've certainly gone out with a bang. This dial has feet for the 1530? I certainly feel lucky to own a Yuki case with work done by you.
  3. I enjoyed the (almost too quick) read here: https://watchjournal.com/profile-jeremy-davis-tempus-machina/ Wondering if anyone has a good guess at the next model? I'm hoping maybe it's something along the lines of a throwback Explorer... I'm a big fan of TM's work.
  4. Be safe out there. These photos are enough to make me look over my shoulder!
  5. Visiting the Bay Area. Philz mojito iced coffee and an homage:
  6. OOOPS! Oct. 7th! Have a fantastic Friday. A Rolex homage.
  7. Nice work BC! You should be proud of it.
  8. Thanks T! Found the dial on VRM and arrived here from France on Monday. Perfect match.
  9. Big fan of this dial now.
  10. Appreciate that sir! The drapes finally match the carpet.
  11. New (to me) "SWISS T
  12. Thank you kind sir! I could use lots more practice, but it's actually quite fun.
  13. I dig it. There's something to be said for a nice grab-n-go watch with inexpensive battery changes.
  14. I would probably need a bib to protect your watch from drool if I saw it in the metal. Mine:
  15. Got a few minutes with macro filters.
  16. Thank you so much for this! No way I would have known or thought to try this setup. Really appreciate ideas like these. Received an inexpensive set from Amazon yesterday and just had time to glance at it this morning. Neewer branded. I'd actually been looking at a macro lens for my mu4/3 camera and this saved me a lot of money. Thanks again.
