  1. didnt even know they made a rep of the rubber strap. imo its worth it to spend an extra couple bucks to get the real deal. thanks for the info.
  2. best out of the box rep i ever owned. surprisingly the control lever does not bother me at all. it did for maybe the first hour, but now i wear it without any disconfort.
  3. in my opinion...little too long for me. took almost 3 days to respond to a question i had.
  4. seriously!! i thought you werent allowed to post about getting a new watch without posting pics....well there should be a rule.
  5. the rep you are referring to im sure is not that great of quality. if you are looking for a good quality graham, you can check the collectors section on this forum.
  6. the graham is the best quality rep i ever had....although it is certainly an aquired taste.
  7. damn i love that!! definitely my favorite hbb so far. still not sure why its priced so high...isnt it just SS with coating? anyway, congrats on that amazing piece you got there!! simply beautiful
  8. have a good trip buddy! take many, many pics...and dont be shy to share the amazing deals you get when you are over there.
  9. yup cape cod cloths do the job for me as well. can be picked up fairly cheap at ace hardware.
  10. the current version of the TITANIUM chrono avenger is not that good of a rep. the only descent TI rep is now discontinued. if you dont mind having a SS version, i would suggest that. i know some members gave it a brushed finish to resemble titanium. as for the mvmt...the 6-9-12 layout for the asian 7750 has never given me any problems. i can highly suggest that mvmt...know matter which one you choose.
  11. looks great my friend! congrats on the new breit. that really fits your wrist quite well. when i heard you were getting this i thought it might have been too small, but its a great match!!
  12. and i would bet that the size is correct....silix always lists his watches smaller than what they really are. i think he measures differently. i dont think they would mess up on something as big as the actual size.
  13. also missing the engraving on side. anybody hear back from jay about this one. im trying to buy, but he doesnt respond to email. im really excited about this one....think it looks great!!
  14. also, from the pics i see on the net...the 2 bubbles just magnify the sub dials. i thought at first these were seperate, but im pretty sure they just magnify the subs. you can see from these pics...
  15. yes, it should be out soon. in fact, if you look on angus's website he has pics of 3 that would be available. from what i hear there are a couple different factories repping this one. hopefully one of them does it with double AR. i hope they rep the "black knight"
  16. no high-quality reps of the b-1...as far as i know. in fact, i havent seen many descent quality reps of any quartz models.
  17. as far as i know there is NOT a high-quality rep of the 41mm hbb. the 41mm hbb has the running seconds @3 so there is a possibility of them repping it, but i dont see enough demand to do another one. as watchmark if it has running secs @3. that will be the confirmation i would ask for, although im 99% sure it does not.
  18. its funny you say that...it seems with every rep..... i have to improvise and come up with a quick fix for something.
  19. i actually didnt tighten any of the bolts...i just put a towel over the circle part (so i didnt scratch)....and clamped down with pliers. simple fix...no wobble anymore.
  20. sorry sub....had to borrow your pic. this is the area....
  21. it took me all of 20 seconds to do. make sure you are using the pliers on the circle part at the top of the black lever. very easy fix brother....im sure you can do it yourself. oh yeah....don forget the towel....dont wanna scratch it all up.
  22. what i did was simply put a towel over the lever (the circle part at the top of the lever) and used a pair of pliers (did i spell that right?). simple fix....very easy and there is no rattling at all anymore!
  23. great SA you have there and beautiful pics. i think she might need a bath though.
  24. took the words out of my mouth. everything sounds fantastic. as a potential customer in the US, i think this would be great.
  25. still curious on why anybody would shower with a watch on :cc_confused:
