well i think you answered the first question yourself...the demand for that not-so-popular color wouldnt sell. the second question is probably due demand once again...not too many people wear watches that small anymore. i think rolex's are even bigger than 38mm...could be wrong on that one though. i think guys watches have to be atleast 40mm now a days. ...and they are getting bigger and bigger. i would think the average size for a mens watch now is probably around 42mm. could be opinion.....could be whats in demand.

totally agree with ya!! just pick a color, wear it with pride and you are good.

i had the blue rep....i saw the blue gen at the AD last week....trust me its not the same....how many pics you want me to post?? im just stating what i saw....in real life and in pics. heres another one...

as you can see from the pic of the genuine blue....its not the same on the rep....not even close.

the Ar looks pretty bad...i dont think its double sided ar.

the blue on the rep isnt a match with the blue on the gen. i would suggest the white or black...probably leaning towards the black....the white has been said to not be exact to the white of the gen either....cant really mess up black though.

i wish. sadly no....that jaeger is amazing too. from what i hear the ap volcano should be repped, but i have no timeframe on when it should it be out.

when you get a glare on the crystal the reflection is white....so if you have a white dial the reflection blends in with the dial and is much less noticable with a white dial. if a breit rep comes out and does not have double AR and i really want it i will always get a white dial....the darker dials (black & blue) wthout Ar are unbearable in my opinion.

he has the same as everybody else....he just put the wrong size in the description.

gonna be hard to take this one off.

lets hope this guy takes better care of his watches then he does with his fingernails. and yes as already stated it is the real deal.

i guess i bought the gen because this is by far my favorite breitling and i wanted it to be perfect. i dont have too many problems with the small inaccuracies of our reps, but what does bother me is when i get a new watch and it has the AR scratched on the outside....the dust under the crystal or misaligned datewheel....issues like that made me want to get this one as a genuine. i got it at an AD....the blacksteel is a limited edition of 2000...so trying to get that is pretty much impossible....i like the ss polished bracelet so i decided this one would be perfect for me. it retails for $3920 and AD's will usually give a 20-25% discount and throw in a couple straps....atleast mine did.

i think i have to disagree with ya....i think the bce wears a little bit bigger than the fish....maybe due it being a chrono....for the most part theyre the same though. pretty much any dealer can get you an ultimate bce.

bce=43.7mm ; steefish=44mm pretty much the same size...go for it!! silix has em on sale for $225!!!!!!!! ridiculous price.

with the lack of AR on this watch i would highly suggest you get a breitling with AR. maybe a swiss steelfish or a bce with some nice double sided AR. the lack of AR on a navitimer is especially bad since the whole watch is all dial....its has a very large crystal compared to the rest of the watch = lotsa reflections. i think you will be blown away with a bce or steelfish.....just my opinion

$2200?? ive actually seen these on the gen forums selling used for under $1500.

thanks for the comments fellas!! it really is a great watch...my first genuine breitling....i can NOW see and feel the difference. the one problem i can see the rep-makers having with this one could possibly be the sub dials....half of the subdial turns a different color when you look at the watch at different angles...one way it looks really dark black and the other way they look almost white/silver...very cool effect, but hard to capture on my pics. thanks again guys.

well i just picked her up and all i can say is that i feel like a kid waking up on christmas morning. this watch is simply amazing and the pics dont do it much justice....especially with my pic taking ability. anyway, i thought i would share my excitement with the rest of the forum members....

its the old version seawolf, which was a very good rep, but is NO longer available.

so what do ya think guys??....the blue bce without diamonds or the blackbird with the bracelet....when that comes out. any advice??
