The rehaut is that of a noobmariner. I think its fine. You lucked out not geting the engraved rehaut. Nice! The bracelet feels flimsy but so does the gen. It does not mean it is fragile. Heres my how-to for fixing bracelet rattle. Should make for a much more gen like wear. watch material pearl, sand the bezel insert down. sand down those CG's a bit. bracelet rattle fix. install a DG high-beat, and you have much more than a beater in my opinion.

Just when everyone's whispering threads of how things have dulled, OS takes a wild trip and shakes things up around here a bit. Hypothetically.. Would it be possible to fit either ETA with a movement spacer or gen movement when this was done?

Dems whats the deal with you and clive? I could never figure it out. Alter ego? Next door neighbor? Arch nemesis? He is no longer on the boards right? I remember you guys coaching me on my first purchase back on RWG1.

I haven't heard one complaint about the ETA clones. With the years passing by, its safe to assume members have replaced parts and had their watch smiths service them, and still no horror stories about these clones. Very promising from that standpoint.

I just realized i'm going on 2 1/2 years here and i've never even owned a chronograph. I guess I'll have to shop chrono's for whatevers next to go in the watchbox. Made me wonder, if I've never owned a chrono, what must have's or watch trends are there that seemingly you are the only one to never have bought into?

Definately a nice variety. Chrono's, non chronos. The only sort've duplicate taste are the two breitling Chronos.
