no wristies here.. but this is my modded daytona!! 116520 with meteorite dial aka freddy3333 mod with low profile case (i think it is anyway).. best of both world really.. rarity of 116520 but the beautiful dial of meteorite and the red hands!!.. if this was a gen.. it should be worth alot! only 1 in the world limited edition indeed

yep i have an eta clone noob too.. and it's worked flawlessly.. the only reason i like these eta clones then the 21j movement is the fact that it has 28800bph AND also not a very noisy rotor like the 21j.. so if you could get these movements.. well at least 1.. i would love to buy the LV version.. u know i've been waiting for the LV version of bkmariner in asian movement for a long time (i can't really afford the eta )

hi i absolutely demolished my black bezel insert again today while wearing my subs.. but i don't have anymore noobmariner bezel insert (black) anymore.. the only one i have lying around is a green LV bezel insert.. i understand that the gen lv has maxi dial and hands.. and ALOT of gen owners have swapped their LV for a black insert.. however.. i feel paranoid when wearing my black sub with LV insert.. does anyone know if there are gen black subs owners out there that have swapped their bezel insert to the green kermit insert?

or maybe you can review it .. as to this sparkling effect you're talking about.. my yachtmaster has this effect.. under light it has that glitter sparkly effect.. but when it is under dim light the colour goes back to similar to the yachtmaster noob (i do have the noob as well here with me).. that is why i'm kind of confused which version is this ym from.. it has the yachtmaster cylinder rehaut, diff dial but, diff dial fonts and funny enough if you can see from my pic the crownguard is u-shaped unlike other noobyachtmaster.. so yeah..

thanks eurotimez.. and another diff that i meant was also the actual colour of the dial.. the newer version (i think the one ur talking about) has a lighter (platinum is meant to be light coloured?) and i think a lil more yellowish in colour and where as this version has a darker grey dial.. but it is very confusing to which is closer to the gen? i will take some comparison photo tomorrow in real life lighting to show u these differences.. and maybe we can do a comparison in which is truer to the gen and also any comments on the crown guards mod that i did? is it closer to the gen (U-shaped)? or do i still need more modding? .. ohh and 1 more mod i should do to this is superlume and probably a new crown from bkmariner

hey guys.. i just finished this one .. i had a 116520 old case lying around (aka fredy333 style) which had the shallower rehaut then the 2nd version.. but i'm also in love with the 116509 meteorite version.. so since the 116509 is in white gold and there is no way in achieving the same colour and weight of a 116509.. i made kind of a modded watch!!! a 116520 with meteorite dial .. as most of you know the meteorite dial is an expensive option of the 116509 models and the 116520 is one of the rarest modern rolex sports.. so this one is a really really rare model (i've actually seen gen owners do the same modding to their watch).. here's the pics anyway enjoy and gen pics (notice it's a modded 116520 not a 116509 ) oOOoOooOOooooOoo

what do you think of this one master? do you think this dial is better? because ive seen other people's noob YM and they have a slightly different dial than mine .. btw i did some crown guard mods and also bracelet mods to it (make it less sharper and oiled)

actually i have to admit.. at the start i buy reps to pass it off as a gen.. it's not so much that i would flaunt it around people n go look i have a gen watch woohoo.. but more like i've always wanted to own a gen watch but never really had a thought of spending so much money on a watch.. so due to the fact that reps are so good and very close to it.. id rather spend money on reps.. but i also treat it as a gen, in a way that i want other ppl to see the watch im wearing is a gen.. not some cheap watch.. but as time grow by.. i got addicted to the whole rep world n started appreciating different brands of watches, models, etc. so yeah nowadays i just try to enjoy the hobby as to trying to pass it off as a gen anymore.. offcourse i still want others to think that mine is a gen watch but i dont really care about it anymore
