  1. First off all. The crown guard has a lever: put you finger nail behind it and pull it out to the (right)side of the watch. You don't need to unscrew the entire crown guard In regards to the time setting. You need to pull out the crown in 1 firm pull (don't yank). Don't be afraid, there's almost nothing that can go wrong besides pulling out the crown and stem completely. Than you know the stem release button wasn't screwed down thoroughly Good luck!
  2. Just tell them you work for a local jeweler and during refinising of the case back (polishing and brushing and stuff) the serial got removed. It will work guaranteed! How do I know that ...
  3. It's ALL about the pearl. Without a pearl it's just as worthless as the rep version.
  4. Looks quite good IMO. Great job and welcome to the 'modders'
  5. Great review. It's indeed a great watch! Maybe even the 'must-have' watch of 2009!
  6. Buy a gen clasp spring at your local Authorized Dealer (leave your rep at home). He can look up the part number. It's only $9 and you can easily swap it yourself.
  7. 99% sure they won't even fit. Sorry.
  8. "The BEST edition of the WORST model" Thanks
  9. I like the decorated clone. They should have it in all Rollie reps IMO. Beats a standard ugly copper/ gold one.....
  10. I think he was talking about the BCE. Gen bezels are available but they cost more than a whole V3 ... Dealers don't mix and match, unfortunately.
  11. Yep, Definetely the best. Pearl is crap though. You have to buy a V3 and change the pearl...
  12. Indeed, I would keep the V2. But you could always buy a V3 and see for yourself . I like owning multiple versions at once so I can compare them and combine parts to get the perfect rep. The left overs I sell to my brother
  13. Nope, not confused. V2 case back on the Skyland is better (IMO ). When you have them both in hand you'll see. It's hard to judge from photo's as the lighting is causing some optical illusions and there are some differences in finish amongst V1s, 2s and 3s. Also did you notice the V1 and V3 has a crooked serial# (in regards to it's placement to the type#).
  14. Skyland V2 has a better case back. Better than V1 & V3 (same case). Logo on V2 is more embossed. Also the other engravings like type and serial# are better and more accurate on the V2. I did a review of both V1 and V2 (as I owned both) but I think the photos don't work anymore. I'll try if I can repost them later. Eventually I took the V2 case, V3 dial (whole lume dot at 3), V2 end-links (V1 & 3 don't have serial# on the end-links) and v1 bracelet because the finishing of the screws, clasp and fold was more superior. Voila, an almost perfect rep recipe
  15. Stop the talking and jump in the car already.... jeez. This ain't high school. Sure somebody must have some balls
  16. man, why not list the whole Breitling catalogue? Using the search funtion and putting some effort in reading posts won't hurt you! Most of all the pros and cons regarding to colour and other details can be found easily...
  17. Looks more dull grey than silver to me..... hope it's the lighting
  18. Because there is lot of difference between inserts, even if they are made for the same model. The ones you can buy are probably made for the real deal. Most of rep PO's (42 and 45) don't have the exact same size as the genuine... thus knowing the exact inner and outer diameter before buying is recommended. I can give you the measurements of the POrikaa if like?
  19. I'm really curious if they'll fit the POrikaa. What are the dimensions of the insert? You have to know them, right...
  20. Strange. Seems like a contradiction.. who told you that?
  21. Was wondering the same thing. Josh told me at the time the new Broad Arrows would come out first. Haven't seen those yet either....
  22. It has nothing to do with the weight. The PO lite is an UPO with mineral crystal and an Asian movement instead of the sapphire and ETA (clone). Because of this cost reduction it is called the 'lite' version. I don't believe the lite version is still available, though I could be wrong....
