  8. dark here now, so recycled pic from yesterday, what the hell, hasn't got a date anyway. Love it and can't seem to pry it off my wrist for some strange reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. I picked up this Mk3 for a decent price. You can find them for little money you just have to look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks my friend. My 1680 is "pearless" as well. I don't mind the look, maybe because trying to find the right pearl and what they are asking for them keeps me sans pearl most of the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Love it! I hear ya buddy. It's beautiful, thanks again for everything. You are a true craftsman and a gentleman. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks gents, it started as a dial and a dream. Don't quite know what it cost me but I couldn't care less, I love it. The 1680 went into the safe this afternoon and not sure when I'll take it out. This 2.8 mil 5513 is simply stunning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Ok, here it is gents, I couldn't be happier, it turned out beautifully. Thanks Mike! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. It's a Gen, 5 mil serial, bought it from the original owner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The seller must think people are fucking stupid. This statement takes the prize. "The "5513" reference number can be clearly seen with the naked eye between the lugs at 12 o'clock. However, the serial number on the opposite side has begun to fade - at least a portion of number can be made out under magnification; maybe the whole number, but I only have a 4x loupe so I cannot say for certain. This should not really make a difference because the watch can be traced just as easy via the movement number. " Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks guys, yeah, the 1680 is my daily wearer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. WG surrounds, yuck. All 5513s weren't created equal. Hahahahah Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Well, I'll buy them all day long for 4500 if it looks like mine. All I found on WUS is this 2.9 mil one which doesn't hold a candle to mine for 7800. http://forums.watchuseek.com/f30/fs-rolex-5513-submariner-bracelet-2593130.html?highlight=5513 Thanks buddy! Leather, got a nice Cordovan Nato.
  23. Thanks buddy, now I may contemplate selling my 1680 cuz I really like this one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Completed and on its way back to me, a 100% Gen 1971/72 5513. Mike ended up putting a gen service T19 on it, I really didn't want the hassle of installing a rep 39 and having problems with watertight integrity. The project cost nearly as much as as buying one outright except when I think about it, an early 70s 5513 for some reason runs a bit more in terms of value, so I think I got a good deal. So, here are photos of the completed watch courtesy of Misiekped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
