NICE! Thanks Hambone. I agreed, despite it being sad (as one can imagine). There is also a compilation of famous directors' montages of love, called "Paris, je t'aime". Uneven stories, some, but others are just solid gold. I loved the one with the Muslim girl and the French boy.

This? Muy sexy! @Khumzi: HAH! Love it. I wear Doc Martens if I want to cast the same effect.

Second wrist-check I've seen from you, DWSmoot, which has been flawless. Nice watches!

Here you go. hxxp://www.watchestobuy.com/newpage11.htm (change xx to tt) Some of the watches are snapped up very quickly on that general site. Been having loads of fun for seemingly hours, over there. hxxp://www.watchestobuy.com/ But check out the Omega Seamaster 600 for $495. A heads up, since I know a lot of guys here like these kinds of vintage watches. "This classic, 34.5mm. OMEGA SEAMASTER 600 automatic from 1965 is a true bargain! The gold filled case with stainless steel screw back has some minor wear from age. It looks great on the wrist with no visible wear! The silver dial with baton, gold markers and hands and date aperture is original, some minor age marks. The shimmering and gilded caliber 611 (high quality) manual winding OMEGA movement was just cleaned, overhauled and is accurate. You will not find a better deal for a classic OMEGA @ only $495!"

That is JUST awesome, TeeJay! I'm not much for tats, would never get one, but some people just look amazing with them. Wish you luck in your designs. You know why.

Hanky Panky going on in the rep assembly line?

@ChickenManny: Long time no see! -
Heh. Yes. Fifo too wore the black Sub shown in this famous site a few members have posted: http://www.oysterinfo.de/en/specials/celebs/index.php

Heh. The guy who wears Oakley shades, has a 2 Gig Ipod Nano in white, and is attributed to wear red Prada shoes (which has been debunked, BTW), oh and he wears a Nike baseball cap whilst relaxing at the Castel Gandolfo, just doesn't seem to own a watch. That is Gaenswein's influence, BTW. He usually is a rather modest guy. The Pope ring is of course, given him and will be broken on his death. Loved your tongue-in-cheek reply though!

Sounds about right. President Chirac wore Breguets as Mayor of Paris. But he favoured gold Rolexes whilst President.

You! Or Admin! I love that photo.

Thanks Doc! Your eyes are fine! It's just that I spent hours researching for this geeky post -- and that's the clearest I could find. Ack, very frustrating. Thank God for View Images.

Not sure I follow your logic there, Pugs. Seems irrelevant.

Have you ever wondered what exact watches are worn by the powerful or famous? In this Wristcheck thread, you can do just that. Can you point out which watch is being worn by whom? WIS CHALLENGE! Alan Greenspan, Former Chairman of the US Federal Reserve Al Gore, Former US Vice-President Dr. Angela Merkel, German Chancellor Senator Barack Obama Former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson The Duchess of Cornwall Carol Burnett, American Comedienne Bill Clinton, Former US President The Dalai Lama Fr. Georg Gaenswein, Pope Benedict XVI's Private Secretary (Very difficult to find a photo of the Pope himself wearing a watch. Does he?) Fred Thompson, Law & Order star, Former US Senator from Tennessee Harald V, King of Norway Carl XVI Gustav, King of Sweden Henrik, Prince Consort of Denmark Senator John Edwards Nicolas Sarkozy, French President Hugo Chavez, Venezuelan President Peter Fonda, US Actor The Duke of York King Juan Carlos & Queen Sofia of Spain Rudy Giuliani, Former NYC Mayor Senator Ted Kennedy Prince William Gordon Brown, British Prime Minister GW Bush, US President And I love to see people checking their watches for the time, don't you? Three extra shots! RELATED: Celebs Wearing Panerai Watches

My continued love of Military Watches takes this post to an unique, and very little remarked on watch, the: The Luminox Navy Seal Model 3001 Neat watch which avoids many of the tacky commercialised pitfalls of say, the IWC "Top Gun" watch shown earlier. The Luminox uses tritium gas tube illumination system which glows without charge for TWENTY FIVE YEARS. Good Grief. This is what the official site says about its unique luminescence: "All Luminox watches must undergo additional manufacturing steps that other watches do not require. The Luminox self-powered illumination system must be installed into each and every watch. It is a costly and time consuming endeavor but it is what makes Luminox watches special. It is our raison d’

Being the rep watch world, you know this will never make the nightly news. But can can YOU IMAGINE, given all the toy company recalls from Chinese factories, the heydey CNN, Fox, the BBC would have with this story??? @Desuetude: LOL! EWWWWW. -

GROSSSS. It's one thing for cafeteria ladies in schools to wear those hairbun covers. But should Chinese factories require crotch covers too?? What gets me most is that it looks done on purpose. WTF. -
Never thought we'd live to see the day when Spice Girls were the best of their genre. As they say here, thanks a bunch, Keith! I am quite enjoying the brown stitch contrast with the tobacco dial of the PAM 118. @TeeJay: Hah. Burtons, good man. Not cheap either, despite your sale item. As for Burberrys, as long as Barbour jackets aren't picked up by the Borstal Boys, it's all good. Well, I've been on a while on RWG. Let me go cough my lungs out downstairs...sun shining! EDIT: One more for the road! I'm off in my car.

I'm one to talk of the Queen of Chavs, Jade Goody. (Not shown: Burberry hoodie)

Yeah, it's hard to get another just like that. HOWEVER, may I say that if the cocoa stitch hadn't occured to me, that I was going to ask V to make me one just like yours. I even like the rounded tip a bit better, in yours. And psst. I will PM you about you know what on Saturday. Thanks so much for waiting. The Raimondo thing just jogged my memory!

JFK's grandson thinks he's black, meanwhile Grace Kelly has a black grandson. Who on God's green earth could've predicted this 40 years ago?
