it's an SC Legend cross stitch.. the black strap that has a "navy blue tint when bent" to match the 082's blueishness

thank you the 082 is old tho .. the 201A is new and what the post was about, lol but i had the 082 nearby so threw them both together the 201A is my new casual wear because well.. the shiney-faced pams is where it's at.. the first day i wore my 201A it already got looks and stolen glances which I LOVE.. that never happened with the 082 just no bling to it i guess.. but the shiney pams combined with the size make it "ooo lookee what's that?"

been fighting it a while.. but it was a battle i lost.. so eventually, got it and damnit.. I love it! you know what it is took pics along with my "custom" PAM 082.. I call them, the dynamic duo closeup clouds moved in for a minute with Flash with slow-sync flash I love it.. truth be told.. I never thought I'd like a PAM without the "seconds" hands.. but the 201A with the simple logo, the design, the etched grooved numbers.. how can i say this properly.. just everything about this watch is.. it's beautiful without being unpretentious it is now my casual-wear for every event/time I'm not wearing my HBBRGPC PAM 201A .. unpretentiously magnificent!

there's two I can think of immediately.. -the legendary FM Conq 2892 -the Brreitling 1st gen? Swiss SFSO.. one could tell by the "4" on the datewheel.. the rarest one have like a cutoff 4 or something, i forgot exactly what.. but yea

yea and teh base pams (well, back then at least) were very cheap like if I let my Swiss PAM 111h base go, it'll be for liek $175 cheap the cost comes in with the modding but like peeps said.. it may eventually be teh "best" quality-wise.. having base's modded

truthfully.. if you're a first-time buyer.. i don't think you can find a better deal than Angus' "ultimate 111h" if you're lookin to buy a "base pam" and then have it modded.. i think it costs more $$$ but the end-quality may be better HOWEVER, you jus said you're a 1st time buyer.. and you just cannot beat the value of the "ultimate 111h" but in all honesty.. I have a swiss base 111h (literally base, it even has a recessed canon pin!) I might sell soon but like I said.. knowing what I know now.. I'd go for Angus' offering.. cheapest price + "modlike quality"

case of grass is greener .. i never wear my gold mat so might as well get a plat mat which will be sitting on my winder as well LOL i want to wear it though it's just i don't have that many avenues to wear it at :X my work-wear aka daily beater is my hbbrgpc

i'll sell you mine so i can get the HBB platmat LOL, sadly they never get worn because of my HBBRGPC -sigh-

it's not shiney at all it's quite nice "matte".. in fact.. umm, i'll try to find the thread where i posted my impressions on it it's quite strange because the quality is UNDENIABLE and it is an attraction magnet.. but because of the matte finish.. it's actually quite a casual watch i haven't taken shots of my watch yet but here's a quickie i'll try to post some daylight pics.. but i dunno, lol dont want my neighbors in nyc thinking im crazy taking pics outside of this watch

thanks for these pics btw i often see the AP ROO and by itself it just.. it doesn't entice me one bit but side by side against the HBB i can definitely see that it stands up and is quite an attention getter altho too bulky for my tastes still it holds up *quite* nicely to the HBB and is worthy of being added to the "Attention" grabber list.. albeit a very small list imnho Santos 100, HBB, AP ROO

yea i know what the HBBRGPC commands.. it's mainly due to the genuine polished ceramic bezel and 1:1 dimensions that it's so ridiculous although i have to say i'm sure we all got the email about these matte hbb's from "the best hublot maker' i think we all know what i'm talkin about.. if you're part of tt's list you got this email recently but i do agree with it.. these matte hbb's are not from the 2nd HBB replica maker the main giveaway are the screw-down crown these are push-down crowns and finishing-wise it's so obvious that it's from that infamous "1st factory" that Mr. JCB is so fond of
