Hmm, these appear to be very nice winders. I may just have to get one. It'd be nice to always have my main two "go to" watches always ready to go.
Thanks for sharing!
Heh, ok. I'd have feared that a couple rocks would have angered the big guy, but a shell or two fired in to the sky might get him moving along on his way.
Yeah, that's why I've always replaced mine with ETA 7750s. Zig has always said the A7750 is a good reliable movement, once serviced. But the cost works out pretty close in the end for A7750 + immediate service vs Factory fresh ETA 7750.
Agree, maxman, especially after reading some more about these DD modules of questionable origin. I also read about many of them having gear slop, and breaking down regularly.
Anyhow, these things are availble for as low as $750 in 98% condition, which under normal circumstances would be a bargain!
Thanks for the run down, MADRED... One question: What can you tell me about fitting gen straps to sec@12 cases? Direct fit, conversion link kit needed, or strap mods needed?
Thanks!
The logo does kind of ruin it for me. If they'd just had flown under the radar a bit more with the logo display on the dial, it'd be better I agree.
That movement engraving is certainly off, but that's also a custom plate to display the "57 jewels" stamp I'm sure. I'm not sure why the DD 2021 would not be readily available to Invicta.
Hmm, but there is definitely some controversy:

(It seems they may have gotten the DD modules second hand, while inferring that they came from the source)
The difference is definitely noticeable on the cyclops. In previous pics without a factory cyclops side by side to compare, I wasn't so sure the AR on the cyclops was so effective. But this is a definite improvement. Thanks for the photos.
Ya, don't try to obtain parts from the usual suppliers. The guy in FL says he has two sets of working hour wheel and pinion that he'll sell for $175 along with the 2892/DD combo. Others have reported success with his parts, so that's a good sign. But of course, as always, your mileage may vary!
