Lots of people wont know what the cost of Hublot is lol... And really not many guys talk about jewelery (watches, and such) in normal converation unless you bring it up. I like the Graham ones because they are bigger on the wrist, they make my wrist seem smaller lol. You can get some different styles out there. They aren't comparable to the hublot watches though in style. I also like the PAM 243 and the 1950 Regatta Rattrapante (the limited edition for 2009) I think its called the PAM 332 and a PAM 114.

Stopping someone from getting scammed is good vibes. I guess one could just as well just sit back and watch it go down. I would thank someone for pointing out a scam if I was going to be taken by it. Personally if someone wants to sell a replica anywhere that is fine. I think they should be reported if they are passing it off as the genuine article though.

Never been asked while I was out and about. I had my steelfish sitting on the counter at home and a friend picked it up and asked if it was fake I told him it was a replica and he said something about how he thought so and how he could tell by the back of it. I didn't bother pressing for details. just put it on my arm and headed out of the house.

I love the way those Seiko Monsters look. Might pick up one after the start of the year.

Oh and on the positive side. This is the only problem what so ever that I have had with this watch. The genuine invicta I purchased had the crown come off (i toyed with a cheap genuine before getting a rep) within a week or so of having it. But got it changed out and haven't had any other problems. Starts right up after i rotate it on my wrist once or twice and keeps pretty decent time. will also gor for about a day or so without being worn just sitting on the kitchen counter lol.

Thanks for the prompt responses everyone. I don't see any threads it looks like a polished piece sticking out. What way would it screw in? I think I have it kind of fixed... lol I pushed it all the way in (felt like a spring was pushing it out) and twisted it a little and now the crown will unscrew and screw back down normally and it appears to be staying in. Is there something else I could do to ensure it stays put? I end up setting my watches like once a week (winder died on me, but I got it cheap off fleabay and it lasted a year) that might be part of the problem also.

Anyone have any ideas on what is wrong? Crown looks like it is pulled out but it isn't pulled out. Watch is still moving and running appears to be working but the crown is very loose and has a little wobble. I haven't moved it any out of fear of breaking it more. So any ideas on what is wrong, cost to repair, anyone local in Colorado? Or where to send it off to have it worked on. I'd post some better photographs of it but don't have the cable with me for the camera.

Thanks. I really like the watch also. Picked it up second hand from a member (meet locally), don't remember if it was here or TRC. Never had a problem what with it great watch and if they are still available id recommend it. I think it has aftermarket AR coating but I can't remember. And it isn't really big on the wrist probably because I have big wrists lol going out for dinner or at work and at home. Received two comments while in class at the local university both were more facinated by the function and how big it was. Asked about the lever and large reset button. The steelfish has only had a few people comment. Same person at the university who said "wow, looks like it doesn't have glass that is really cool." other people who asked were friends over at the house who picked it up off the counter asking if it was real. I let them know it was a replica and tehy said "yeah, I could tell." Could explain how they could only that they could tell from the back lol.

probably something like this I have had the most comments about this watch though. Both together in the dark room here. I love the yellow seawolf watches and the 1911 also but I think I am going to go with a nice dress watch for my next purchase.

I read the original forsale post and see that he mentions it needing serviced "the movement needs to be serviced to work properly and make it more reliable" If I were looking for one of those watches I would have passed up this ad the moment I read that line. Only because I don't know about working on movements and don't have a local guy to work on them. I am sure there are some people on here that would gladly service it for you. Perhaps one should start with that or maybe asking for recomendations on where to take the rep for service in your area.

Looking great.

What was the first rep you ever saw ?
jchurch replied to Deepseadweller's topic in General Discussion
First rep that I knew was a rep was an awful quartz rolex picked up in TJ Mexico... cheap folded band cheap all around think I paid a 5er for it. lasted probably a year than the band broke. probably 15ish years ago. -
Same as yesterday...

I think I read from someone on here there wasn't a difference on how they were kept. I keep mine on my winder to save the time I have to spend setting them each time I want to wear one. I usually have to still set the time because they either gain some or loose some depending on the watch.

Have one forsale? lol. I will have to look at it when I get home work seems to block imageshack for some reason. someone was selling an IWC Portuguese 7 days that looked really nice but I think I read about some problems with those.

My first purchase(s) were made from the watches for sale part on the forum. First watch was the SFSO that I wear a ton. However it wasn't the first watch I received because I made a deal again in the watches for sale area with a local seller and bought a Graham which also gets a lot of wear time since the weather is nice. The local guy was very nice and had others he was selling that looked very nice but I had just used paypal to buy the SFSO a day earlier. I would check the watches for sale area on the boards you might get really lucky and find one there. I really don't think you will get ripped off going through a dealer or anyone else off the board. I have had really good luck (knocking on wood) with all of my transactions.

Still looking for a nice plain dress watch.

Shnooped! The Accutron 26C02 Chronograph mini-review.

Very nice looking watch there. 286 sounds like a good deal. -
What kind of food? I break out yelp on my phone when I am looking for a new place or when I am somewhere I haven't been before. I hasn't sent me wrong yet. I usually look for ones with a few reviews read all of the reviews and look at the ones on different extremes to see if they have some of the same things to say. If I find a place that only has one or two reviews and they are middle of the road to positive ones I look at the reviewers history to see what else they liked and didn't like. So far I have been really good at finding places off that site. yelp.com Giacomo's, 303 Cafe

What is the yellow face breitling? I have been looking for a nice yellow face watch after my Seiko went missing a few years ago. I saw a nice quartz one at the local breitling dealer back in May of this year but held off on picking it up only to find it was sold the following week.
