  1. I agree on the being hard to spot. Here are some of my SOSF on rubber. Mine is in blue instead of the black like the one on the bay but I would imagine you can get a black one also. Mine doesn't have the lume on the ring around the dial (I don't know what that's called) like the one in the photo but I suspect that was different versions and years and I am sure any of the modders who lume watches could hook that up if it was needed. I bought mine second hand off here so I don't know what version or dealer it came from. If you want to see super large versions of these just click on the photo.
  2. Looks like a genuine one to me. but it is awfully hard to be sure.
  3. There are lots of good sites in the dealers section. I think you might have to be a supporter to see them though I don't know. I am pretty sure you can see the member sales area and just look for someone selling some that look really nice. I don't know that you will find anything in the tourbillon arena. I used to think I had a big wrist but as it turns out it isn't all that big. First reps I picked up were the Breitling Steel Fish, and Graham ChronoFighter oversize. Wore them both a ton I haven't worn my Steel Fish lately because I had the tube unscrew on me and I am waiting to send it off to be checked out before putting it back into rotation again. I bought both watches from members as second hand purchases instead of going through a dealer. I then went with a Rolex Milgauss green crystal through a dealer. watch arrived as advertised on the dealers site and continues to work great, it is a little on the small side I think and if your wrist is bigger then mine it would probably look even smaller. Steel Fish on wrist here Rubber strap and buckle location while wearing. here Graham ChronoFighter on wrist here ChronoFigher and Steel Fish next to each other to compare sizes here
  4. Mine was a swiss one I think. I haven't opened it up or anything like that. I thought the genuine ones had blue at 3 6 and 9 but it wore off really quickly and turned to the green to match with the others.
  5. I still have to get a good one of the etching... I think my version is one of the older ones because it doesn't have the blue lume at 3, 6, 9 like some others. I guess this one also shows the crown in it. Here is the original version Actually if you look at the original version of this image you can see it over the 30... use this link
  6. This happened on one of the genuine invicta watches I picked up. I sent it in and they fixed it. Mine looked like it screwed on to the stem.
  7. non-correct hand stack, wrong hand stack, incorrect hand stack... just my guess.
  8. My replica has an etched one. The genuine ones I have seen do not have etched crowns. Mine has been worn quite a bit and doesn't have any scratches. I wil lpost up some photos of it this weekend. Doesn't have any scratches on the crystal... the band is pretty scuffed up. I to lots of typing and moving around of computers in my job.
  9. City I live in is home to 71,397 females 69,592 males for a total of 140,989 lol.
  10. I have smaller wrists probably like an 8 inch or something around there. But the Chronofighter Oversize is good Here is the SFSO and how I wear it I imagine there is enough room for an inch or two with the strap. Or the pathfinder, non replica lol Just want to stay away from something too small... The milgauss looks about like this the momo design chrono.
  11. I like these. I think all of my replica watches are on the list lol. Well except for the milgauss which probably should be on the list. I have looked at it at the AD (was looking at a Breitling and picking up a band) and didn't think it was really all that different. I would love some sort of in house thingy but to be honest I am still reading and learning from all of the past posts.
  12. Should get what you paid for. I say it looks really nice either way. The only thing that bugs me about those is the lume dot in the 3 position.
  13. Reported...
  14. Aren't they supposed to not have the silver rings around each dot? I kind of like it though.
  15. I'd wear one of these... they are just 46mm The SFSO feels smaller and I think it looks smaller on the wrist also. I also like the milgauss I wear it when I have to wear something with long sleeves.
  16. Inside... Last day of work until January. Outside... nothing really pretty today well at least not yet.
  17. Just go directly to the store if you want something right away...
  18. I pull the crown out and set the time correctly. Move the time till the date changes then I know it is starting in the morning. Next I set the date to the correct date. I then put it on my arm and put on my shirt and pants. Typically the movement from setting it and getting dressed has started the watch in motion. It has in my experience on all of the watches I have.
  19. Love that strap and watch photos are great.
  20. May of 2006 looked like this... March of 2007 looked like this... August of 2008, old dell laptop. October of 2008 at work...
  21. umm don't bend the cards, don't touch the chips after the dealer says no more bets, don't hand money directly to the dealer... If you hit a slot machine with a payout over 1199 you will have to pay taxes on it. If you play at the tables you wont get hit up for taxes unless you hit a 300 to 1 odds with a $600 bet. Staying off the strip will get cheaper hotel rates but getting around will be a hassle unless you have a car. If you are going to do the night club thing bring a date and make sure she looks good, also wear some instyle clothing lol. Don't wear shorts and sandles to the club because you wont get in lol. If you are taking a cab from the airport to the strip take paradise road, you will save a good 10 or 15 bucks in cab fare (make sure you ask the driver to take paradise not the tunnel). It is against the law to hail a cab on las vegas blvd or freemont, well it is against the law for the cab driver to pick you up lol. No open alcohol beverages in anything other than chartered buses. If you are going public transportation you should probably stay on the strip and use the double decker buses I think it runs 5 bucks or so for a whole day pass. Also lots of casinos have trams and means to get between each other. If you are going to walk use the crosswalk, jay walking costs 150 bucks if you get caught. Cameras... lots of casinos will get on you for taking photos in the gambling area, so be sneaky about it if you are going to do that. Also cameras are everywhere so don't do stuff you don't want on film. Parking if you drive out there is kind of a hassle on the strip... Most hotels have free parking behind the casinos. However I use valet as much as possible but the last time I went we took a subaru out and getting in to the valet late in the day resulted in being told they were full or only open for hotel guests. Last time I was there we stayed at Planet Hollywood and it was nice. Cheap room rates for on the strip which was good times. Don't stay anywhere north of say circus circus or you could end up on CSI lol
  22. I love my SteelFish... It was my first rep purchase but the same day I bought it off a user at TRC I bought a Graham chronofighter oversize. Since the guy with the graham was local I meet up and picked up the Graham chronofighter and because of the quality of the graham I was really excited each day hoping for the steelfish to arrive. Once it did I wasn't disapointed lol. Only disapointment the breitling has given me was just recently. with the "tube" (think thats what its called) came unscrewed from the case causing me lots of worry. I have screwed it back in and it seems ok now.
  23. Good information for people. I remember the first one I ordered from overseas lol. Was in customs for a little while but showed up at the house eventually. But then I saw this and was disapointed lol. (I went to the local post office and picked it up)
