I love the U1...so clean and simple...awesome watch! from time to time it can be found even for a couple of $ less...however, from what I've read about Sinn watches in general they are well worth each $ that you pay them... one day I will get myself the U1...

these movements run great...don't worry...no need to service it immediately...this problem was more present with the old asian7750...this new high beat 28.8K proved to be great...

so the story goes like this (according to you?!) 1. nikos1978 and pamfried agreed a trade (don't know when? do you have PM's or e-mails about your agreement?) 2. the trade was supposed to be : you give to pamfried your PAM187 (Honpo version) and he gives you a SWISS7750 movement 3. you ship the watch to pamfried and he gets (?) the PAM187 (Honpo version) 4. you don't get the SWISS7750 movement that was part of the trade 5. you send PM's and e-mails to pamfried to get an explanation and receive NO answer 6. conclusion - you have done your part of the deal and pamfried didn't (?) 7. you ask pamfried to return you the PAM187 (?) is that correct? is that your story? did I miss something?

after a couple of days I decided...my most impressive watch is the DeWitte Academia...simply awesome rep...the chinese have done really well this one...love the way they managed to do the case...the combo of titanium and rubber is done pretty well...

dial is definitely gen..you can see it by the PR subdial that is recessed...cannot speak for the hands....but the seller has lately put a couple of gen spare parts for PAMs...dunno if this would fit the rep mvt....

ok, I am fully aware of whom you are talking since this member posted the exactly sam pics on this forum asking if this was or not a HONPO...I beleive there is some kind of misunderstanding and I belive you can solve this in private...this is just my opinion...maybe you've already tried to sort things in private, dunno! hope everythings gets solved soon....

but they are really small... I am having the watch right now on my wrist...for me this is one of the very best reps that could be bought today! now I wonder where to find the tool for unscrewing the strange "star screw" for removing the strap...not that I need it right now, but you never know!

yep...this could be the right thing for opening the caseack...the screws on the back are hexagonal...

it definitely needs some strange tools...for opening the caseback and for changing the strap...strange that the dealers do not offer this tools FS...however I've read on another forum that Josh is looking from the factories to produce some tools for this purposes...

definitely on of the nicest divers around...pity it has all the problems...otherwise it would be a perfect summer watch! hopefully we see an improved version because then I would definitly be one of the owners...

the one who is willing to do business...since his reputation is lately questionable due to lack or non existance of QC...he should better do it IMHO! 300$ or more...what difference it makes...they are getting our hard earned money...they better do what we politely ask them to do...

it looks great indeed...I haven't heard anything about plans of repping that one...you can always send pics to Angus who is always willing to present it to the rep factories...

once again Rolli, this one is amazing...pretty much like any other piece from your outstanding collection! I did never pay too much attentions to GMT PAMs since I have the 029 with eta2893-2 mvt....but this one is really amazing...like somebody already said the dial color and the ti case is fantastic - perfect combo! wear it well!
