the U1 is one of the nicest watches for 1200$+...really great watch...but definitely of no interest for the factories to rep it due to the facts that other member pointed out...same goes for other Sinn models...

tnx...the rep rubber band is very soft...however, looking from the pics apart from the satin finish it looks that the gen strap is more rigid and thicker...is that just a feeling or is it really like that?

some nice pieces passed through your hands...from the worst piece as your 1st one to the best as your last...genuine and highly modded ones... love the 111 with the GS CH 1st ed strap...and the Corum from taka was as well a nice one! it it very nice to have documented with pics all the pieces you have owned!

the guy with the gen 023 hands just posted a FS listing of a GEN 090 dial...he has definitely got some nice stuff! I'll check his listings from time to time to check what he has FS...seems he can get some GEN PAM parts... item nr. 270243176389

My last 7 reps that I haver bought have all the rubber strap...DeWitt Academia, Porsche Flat 6, HBB, B&M Riviera, Paul Picot, Graham, Corum ACC... Some of those models come only with the rubber band as gen...but in general if a gen watch has the bracelet option, I wouldn't mind having the bracelet as well, because the change from rubber to bracelet can sometimes bring a new joy for wearing that specific rep... however during the summer time I definitely prefer wearing watches with rubber bands...and I have in front of me something like 4 months of hot weather! so bring the bracelets and the AP ROO with the rubber bezel...I'd buy all of it... I am in no way interested in the Rolex Daytona...If I was asked, I'd pick other brands for replicas other than Rolex,Omega,Panerai...and we are seeing more and more of this...and that is good!

Seems that recently more and more gen PAM parts have been auctioned on the bay...Just now I found the listing for the GEN HANDS NOS for the PAM023...6 days more to go... If I remember correctly there was one member who managed to source a gen dial for the 023...so this hands would perfectly go with that dial for a super franken... the listing is : 140238210244 good luck if you decide to bid...I know I have no $$$ for this stuff at the moment...

slai and others...SC are really gorgeus straps...I love mine, it is mounted on the 027...I wanted to get two more of them but since I couldn't pay with paypal there was nothing to do... hope I can find another one on the 2nd hand market...lately I've seen a similar type and quality of straps at 'risti...and they were in the 300$ range!

I just bought 6 chrono reps but I wouldn't mind owning that one too...seems the second half of the year with all the reps that are announced to be released, is gonna be an expensive one!

guys sorry to hear this...I just had a PM on RG from a friend of mine and he says he is experiencing as well similar problems as the one you have pointed in this post... seems it is just a rep with a lot of issues...and dealers do not do the QC they should...so it is a "stay away" rep until they don't fix the issues...

the hands of that lady doesn't look like lady's hands! ...more like worker in a harbour...who works two shifts a day and unloads 10.000 kg per day with them!

well gang I am in GZ...and I have already scored the 6 reps I was talking about...I am in my hotel room and I am typing this msg... the reps are behind me all ticking like they should! now I just have to figure out what to do...how to smuggle them past the customs... I was thinking about the possibility to take them apart (disassemble) and the reassemble them back home...it should be easier to pass the customs in that case, what do you think? however, they are gorgeus...and the watch markets are simply amazing...the amount of people over there is just crazy...I saw today a lot of non chinese people...everybody buying...this and that...crap and superreps...but crap the most of the time... over and out!
