.. FYI, this is the answer of the dealer about the misaligned "swiss made" is: ...I think the bumpy journey to you in the package caused that. I checked the watch before I ship it out. ... I can't beleive this bull*** Guys, the watch was wrap with tons of bubble wrap, in a styrofoam box, very tight. Nos sign of abuse on the box too. Even a earthquake can't do that. I suppose if a mvt arrive, and the mvt doesn't work, we'll reveive the same bull*** reason/explanation from dealer.

Andrew at trustyTime.

My advise, don't guess on a new dealer... there's enough trusted dealer here.

Beautiful watch, creamy sub-dial/Bezel... One deception I got was, I was shocked about how thin the crystal is on this model... when I gently taped with my fingernail, it sounds like a plastic crystal... the gen do the same?
-
And what he will suppose to do? Ask me to send it back? Pay for shipping back? etc. The Zigmeister will fixed it with my Jan full servicing appointment. Note that the "swiss made" print is NOT part of the inner turnable bezel, the print is on a crystal seal ring, it's an independent ring, IMHO it should be re-align easily.
-
I'll miss it during all the time that will be with The Zigmeister + time to coat the crystal in the Feb AR run process The inner bezel has white gloss marking, the result of re-luming the inner bezel will be in white matte...not sure I want that... Who relume Cousteau/Aquatimer bezel here?

Just received mine today, it's an awesome watch. No problem with it out of the box, but will still go to visit The Zigmeister to unmount, clean, re-oil, etc. AR: -The AR is pretty strong, little blueish under hot spot light. The crystal will still go for the new "must to have" AR from Chief. Dial: - Dial is a real beauty. Very classy. Not black matte but a glossy metal dial. The indices on dial are very nice and catch light and glow nicely. - No lume on the rotating bezel, and I'll not lume it. Hands has a pretty good lume, but again, they wil be re-lume. BTW There's lume on subdial needles. - On mine, the "swiss made" is misalign at the bottom of the ring to hold the crystal, it is not at 30, but at 33, the gen is like this? Push button: It's true that the bezel crown/button do a squeaky/spring sound when it be turn. It is not stiff to turn, and not too slack. There's a spring in there, and maybe it grind on the inside of button...it sounds "cheap". Strap: Very well made, very comfortable. Serious stuff here. Notice for all purist that it's NOT made with rubber, (cuz a true rubber strap smell like vanilla), it is soft synthetic rubber, still very comfo and not stiff. Conclusion: Definitively, it's a must to have. Photos:

That is a very good idea to regroup services like the AR coating, in a "Modification services"
-
Just ordered one, will reecive it in few days...I'll give a status before it go to relume, AR, and full servicing to The Zigmeister.

Yup, exactly, orange is more adequate for summer, you put the finger on it.

Changes to my participation here, being curtailed.

Couldn't agree more than that. The Zigmeister is at first a watchsmith, who sell his service (and of course, we all know, he has a good competence in rep ASIAN watch/Mvt). His only responsibility his to maintain communication for the work to do on your watch, t h a t ' s i t. The rest, sharing idea, hint, oponion, etc. it's NOT his responsibility, and a seller (of services in this case) can stop exchanging at any moment with a client that want to suck too much of his time. -
Until I'll receive my 3717 from The Zigmeister to do a full servicing on the Swiss ETA 7750, and Chief AR, and wait for Breitling Navitimer & IWC (aquatimer) Slever, that arecoming from Andrew soon... here again

I use a cardiac digital watch chrono is a lot easier to read than ANY analog chrono) or, in the past, I use a Seiko MONSTER on a NATO strap to do my daily mountain bike training. Killer look. But very heavy, but cuz I keep my hand on the bar, it didn't bother me. I suggest to you a very light watch (a CASIO G-SHOCK),and due to perspiration, is the best IMHO to do training session.

I sold my Orange PO 42mm cuz I find the orange little too "funky" for my age, not fit with my working cloths/shirt, it just didn't fit. But I still love the color (it was my beater watch), but on me, nop, don't fit with my style. But I'll buy the Black PO one, and I think about the chrono cuz I LOVE the layout (even if it's far than the gen layout, offset sub dial, etc.), layout is very easy to read, retro design hands with modern touch (button, number)... I saw this model in a AD, but find it very big with a bracelet, maybe with a strap it look less overkill? anyway, it's not my top of the list rep, but it definitively catch eyes attention Just my two cents. p.s and welcome aboard

Can already said that I don't have choice to drawback for 2 (of my 3 crystals) places due to some bought watches that are not arrived yet, but they'll be ready/in for the next Feb run, I need to re-in those for the Feb runs, so that give 2 places for other who want/can be in for the Jan AR run, jump on it !!! .

IMHO PVD will not last...check the caseback, already chips :-(
-
A classic, that will NEVER die, NEVER. Amen.
-
Yes, it is available, I just bought one from Josh (perfectClones) some weeks ago, price was $35 I think.
-
I vote for option 3 too. My only concern is about the quality of the PVD coating, is it good enough? hummm... any hint here? Is it better to go with stainless, or go with the Joe industrial PVD B&R group buy? Ho! and a warm welcome to the group

Hey The Zigmeister, I think you will need little more storage room to hold all watch that you will receive
-
3 for me. Already have an appointment with The Zigmeister for last week of this month (remove crystal, full services, et.), but I still not receive my watch from Andrew that I bought on 9 dec I did everything and try to organize thing to be sure to be aboard for this run hope to be right on time, I'll keep my finger cross.

I really like the rolex vintage (paul newman version?) on the left side. I'm a newbies in Rolex/daytona domain, wish model is the more accurate rep to buy? (Another watch on my list to buy )

Each time I try to use my chrono (valjoux layout 6,9,12, or a 6,9,3 layout), impossible to tell, like a snap, in a fraction of second without hesitation, what is the elapse time (I read, in the right sub-dial order, for knowing if the minute sub-dial is in de 0 to 30 range or in the 30 to 60 minutes range, but it's always pain in the ***). I far prefer a non-chrono, with a simple rotating bezel, to time my laundry, or cooking, or parking meter, etc. analog chrono are sexy, of course, but not really practical. A digital chrono is very more easy to read. The best (IMHO) analog chrono layout is the lemania 5100, with a second hand minutes counter, the best layout ever design, and now, it is discontinued, http://www.timedesign.de/uhrwerke/zifferblatt.html ... I miss my old Sinn 142 with original Lemania 5100 for that. Why I sell it? why http://rwg.cc/uploads/emoticons/default_cry.gif' alt=''>, but Sinn create his own version of the lemania 5100, http://www.sinn.de/onlineshopPRO/TEMPLATE/....php?id=142.050, but he his the only one, that I know, who construct this layout. Ok, so, am I alone here to find these valjoux chrono layout little difficult to read? I think it's time to watch designer to switch and build a more modern chrono layout, we approach 2008!
