I think he typed some and edited them out. He can ask whatever, but it appears you are just circling the boards gran, trying to start little fires on each one (TTK here, the pope's comments there, etc).
Perhaps this has been addressed, but I am really curious why both the real and fake use "IIII" as the roman numerals to indicate the time is four o'clock instead of "IV".
I feel like I am missing something? Markers never look lined up right to me either...
Very sweet, I have always liked skeleton watches. There is a cartier one floating among the dealers, minus the gross mispellings I would be all over it!
re: membership % that pays, a few thoughts...
There seems to be a core of ~250 of us that post/participate on a regular basis, these are the same people we see in the threads, same ones who pay the supporter fees. The trick is getting the people that register and never return after they get a submariner rep, or log in once a month to get their quick fix.
[censored] I HAVE one of those...
The springs in one of the smallest push-pins in the clasp was not working anyways, hopefully I will get it back today!
Sounds like a patek phillipe ad! (now that would be cool to build)
"You don't actually own a ubi-mariner, you just take care of it for the next generation"
Ugh this thing was a nightmare, the spring-pin in another part was also broke. Ended up just taking it to a local watch guy and leaving it for him to deal with.
typical. screw with it for an hour, no result. Stupid post, it comes out in 2 seconds.
You have to nock the pins out, not "push" them, for those confused by the whole "push pin" terminology.
