There are spring bars on both sides of the strap. I think his selection of Palin is really insulting, especially to women. Basically he's counting on women being so stupid that they will vote for him just because the simple fact that his running mate is a women. He's in for a big surprise. Not to mention that her views are not inline with most women. Creationism in public schools? Opposed to abortion, even after rape? None of my female friends are falling for this gimmick. She has no foreign policy experience, in fact just weeks ago she said in an interview "What exactly is it that the VP does?" along with "The position of VP doesn't seem productive"..Oh wait, but she has 5 kids so people will fall in love with her!! Come on!! This is basically a concession on Mccain's part, had he picked a conventional white male VP he would have no chance of winning this race - he needed to do something drastic. In change vs. experience elections, change always wins. So he needed to jump on the change bandwagon.. I can just see it now: "The Maverick and the MILF"

Perhaps 1 too many acronyms, and I don't know if this has already been posted but this is the gen limited SA coming out. Maybe after the factories perfect the DLC process they'll get around to this one. It would for sure be a hot seller. Looks very similar to the skyland BS - the only noticeable difference besides the size is the larger lume markers.

MP you're right.. It's closer to gunmetal. They kind of change colors depending on the lighting and angle. It's a particularly cool effect that it gives. Also something I noticed is that that the half of the subdial (the non-guilloche'd half) has vertical lines on my gen, although very light and hard to see, the rep it doesn't have this texture - the non-textured half of the subdial is the same as the rest of the dial on the rep. This is not something you can notice unless your face is 1cm from the dial. I might be wrong because I haven't seen macro shots of the rep dial but it doesn't look like the reps have these vertical lines on the non-texutred halfs

MP, i'm looking at my gen slate grey right now and the rings around the subdials are definitely silver not black...Probably the crazy lighting they have in AD's that made it look a bit different here's a few closeup pics

Dave, very sorry to hear about your loss - keep your head high and cherish the good times you spent with her - those memories will last a lifetime. If you make it private it won't show up in google, nor will it show up in a photobucket search. Goto photobucket > find stuff > recent images .. I've seen a ton of replica pictures show up there. Sure if they have access to this site it's quite easy but might aswel take all the precautions we can for people who don't know about these forums It's not hard... http://photobucket.com/images/skyland/ @BT- I agree but this is a close knit community..Chances are if someone had 6 gen breitling's we would know about it and we could easily pin-pint the culprit..But who knows, we might not.
