  1. I'm building a ARF Rolex Datejust 36mm Gen Dial Gen White Gold Bezel Gen date wheel Polished and brushed to Gen spec Serviced And everything else that will keep the movement from breaking. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do the franken, unless something comes up then I'll probably buy a sub V7, it all just depends. I'm only 18 I've only done CBT I can't go over 125cc, but I'm riding a Suzuki Intruder 2001 125cc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hi everyone, I ride a motorbike and I'm going to be doing a franken build, I like to have my watch on while riding, but I have never spent so much money on a watch before, the total cost of this build is gonna be around £1500, I want to know if it'll be alright with the vibration of the road and on the bumps, my dad told me it should be shock proof, but I heard that the SA3135 movement can break. If anyone can help me that'll be great. Cheers [emoji482] Freddie [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. Chrono24 is a good website to get gen parts, the parts come from all over the world on that site. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. So is the v8 a V7 just with 904L steel? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hi everyone, First what I'm gonna say is how I got into watches. My mum & dad had a Gen Rolex Datejust 36mm and 26mm two tone SS, YG with white shiny Dial he wore it for around 10 years+, but one day it all went side ways, so unfortunately he had to sell both the watches, it is the only "jewellery" that my dad wore, he was absolutely devastated. Here's a picture of what it probably looked like. Anyway so I always wanted a rolex but obviously being 17 at the time I couldn't afford to buy one, so I was looking around and found dhgate thought it was a fake website, but then i saw the reviews and saw that Jason007 was the best dealer for watches of around £70 to £150, so purchased the watch £90 with DHL shipping, 2/3 days after it was delivered to UK it was faster than Royal Mail! [emoji23] Specs - 2813 Auto Movement (Was a bit noisy but you couldn't really hear it unless it was very quiet) - Solid Links - 316L Steel - Solid Case It could have done with a new bezel as the numbers were white not platinum. Here's some pictures Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hi everyone, I got told by a watchsmith that they can service the movement but if the crown falls out It will break and they will just give it back to me broken, I think that's what he said about the crown he said something like that. If you anyone could help that would be amazing! Cheers [emoji482] Freddie [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. What is the reason your going with the V7 and not the V8, is it because of the price or is there a fault on the V8? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. What's your opinion on the V8 is it better than the V7 ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hi are you selling your Hulk Sub? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. [emoji892]Haha, thanks Al, It doesn't get to me like wearing watches and reps I also like frankening them! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Depending on what movement you have, Ebay is a good place to get parts from, say if you have a asia clone 2824, you can buy loads of parts from there for all asia clone eta movements and a full asia clone movement only cost around GBP150.
  13. @seanjo76 why did you sign up to a rep forum if you want nothing to do with reps bit idiotic isnt it?
  14. Whats sad ? @seanjo76 @seanjo76 you already said you didnt want anything to do with reps, so dont go round commenting 'very sad indeed.' on rep topics.
  15. I have never seen anyone say it was a fake, the sopranos are notorious for all the Rolex's they used in the show and there's no way they would risk having a fake on the show, there's also been close up pictures of it, James gandolfini was a watch fanatic. Look here's a clear pic of it that's a presidential strap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I really wish there was more vintage rolex reps, i know theres vintage submariners, GMTs and Daytona reps but i wish there was vintage Daydates and Datejusts. For example, im watching the sopranos, Tony wears a 1980s or 90s Rolex 36mm Daydate Yellow Gold. I have found the new version of the watch but i wish there was a version with the stick dial and with the older clasp and the older bezel, it seems the newer bezels look thicker/bigger than the older bezels. Also Datejusts, i really like the older clasp and not the invisible jubilee clasp as much, i think it gives it a more authentic look and i just like the old school look. Does anyone else think the same? Cheers Freddie
  17. Hahaha yeah I'm talking about the Watch or am I [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. [emoji23] she won't be drunk, there actually a little posh in there own way. I'll let her hold it and see if she thinks it's a rep, I won't let her hold it if she's drunk though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Wow that is old for a watch 50 years old! What a piece, I'm guessing it's a rep right [emoji6][emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I would take the money and buy a watch that you want have some money left over to do what ever you want, if you don't need the money that is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
