Seriously though my wife has sort of the same issues so I got her a gen Movado Ladies Museum on a leather strap. Since you can't do SS at all, case or band, the suggestion for a J12 might work, the higher end ones are coated in ceramic.

I agree with BT. You obviously are very fond of this watch and even when you get another watch (and you will) your mind will still drift to this watch from time to time. Kinda like I love my wife, but every so often I remember fondly a special ex-girlfriend... Get on The Zigmeister's schedule and all will be well.

Check the back of the case, there should be 951 on both sides. Also see if there is a serial no., 816880298. I still recommend you ask for a swap, that movement has major issues. Don't chance it and get stuck paying for a full service.

I agree. Since they already have dial "material", just stamp out a smaller pattern and put no markings on it. We'll see what Angus says. They wouldn't even have to come out of MBK. It would be nice but I don't think necessary.

I missed that PayPal will only protect $200. The clasp is wrong for sure, ALL gen PO's say PLANET OCEAN on them, at least to my puny knowledge. Don't pay this guy. Take the hit on your feedback score. Better that than be out of almost $1500.

dvn my friend, I honestly cannot tell, maybe By-Tor can be of more help. My only concerns are this seller only as 11 feedbacks, but NONE as a seller. I would pay with PayPal and take the watch to an authorized Omega dealer IMMEDIATELY! If it is in fact not gen contact PayPal immediately. Also contact Omega with the serial no. I just can't see a watch like that going for that low a price and the description says nothing about it being genuine. I sincerely hope it is gen and you got a great deal.

Yes and yes. Adam sold the gen movement for 2k. By the time you buy a good 1:1 fiddy and have the movement changed, unless you can do it yourself, you're looking at the same 3k.
