I find it really hard to believe that they would only make a handful of correct handstack versions. If so, and I missed it, and I've been waiting this long, I can't even think or express how mad I'll be for not getting one sooner... This may be my last post even.... :cryss:

@ Lani I like how you inadvertently became the official reviewer of this watch just because you were the first person to say he got it. I don't think my desperate pleas in the shoutbox helped that much. --- I wasn't really as impressed by the gen as I was at first either. --- What we really need is a side by side comparison, ya'll. Maybe we should ease up off Lani since he doesn't have the gen and will be going off his memory of the gen from the AD....who wouldn't even give him a book... What a shame

I agree 100%. Accuracy is irrelevant if it looks cheap. If I spend any more than 50$ on a watch, I had better not have to worry about it scratching or not keeping time. Otherwise I'll just keep wearing my sport watches to work...

I went to the AD today and wasn't as impressed with this watch as I was when I first saw it. Maybe it's because I know everything about it now and have been drooling over it for over 9months. The one thing that I noticed today, though, was how unimpressive the bezel, namely the platinum numbers, is. Maybe they pulled it off better with the rep lol.

Whatever happened to the updated version that was supposed to be out in May?

I guess the better question would be, " where can I go to find out if updated dials to the SOH are going to be made?" Somebody teach me to fish instead of just giving me one; I'll feel better about myself. Also, if I'm not mistaken, if I could get ahold of a gen, it would fit in Silix's SOH, right? Thanks NewB

I think any well made leather band can go with any watch as long as the colors don't blatantly clash. That being said, I think this strap is much better suited on a Panerai; it just doesn't seem sleek enough for a BCE. I don't like it, but lets see pics and I'll be more than happy to weigh in again

After reading a brief conversation among a few senior members about a newb thread crapping on his first post, I realized that I have been more outspoken in the forum than I have the knowledge or experience here to be. I'd like to apologize to all and say that I have been intending to contribute more here, and after reading these posts, I understand a little more why I should. Hey Chrono, I think the update you're referring to was this: The description of the watch was added to the Josh and Andrew's sites which were 'pics only' for a short time. (still not sure why) The sales page for the watch was just pics and a price of 888,888 for a little while. It wasn't updated that one description was updated/changed to another in response to this forum. I think that's what you were asking. Newd

No joke, Mickey. The whole reason ceramic is used on watches is its durability, right? I wouldn't spend fifty bucks on a watch with plastic or pvd that's trying to pass as ceramic

If this aint ceramic I aint getting it. ill cry myself to sleep for the next few weeks, but I aint gettin it. plastic even looks more similar to ceramic than pvd I think... (sniff, sniff ... )

Those numbers are for shizure too thick--I'd love to know what partial ceramic means.... Crown looks too fat, too. Date font looks surprisingly good. 60 teeth. Face looks good, but that should be a given on these, right? Correct hand stack. I think I'm gonna get a gen ruby/sapphire pepsi bezel in mine....

I've been watching for this thing every day for at least 9months now, so I apologize in advance for the repeated posts.... Wouldn't it be safe to assume real ceramic would put this bad boy in the 500+ range?

I may be once again showing my ignorance here, but what's the deal with posting pics without description/price/etc... I'm guessing they probably just get the pics up ASAP and then finish the page a couple days later...? So I guess my real question is when can these be ordered? Does it normally just take a few days or could it be longer?

My Asian 21J in my LV Sub lost around 97 minutes today. The nice thing is I thought it was 330 and it was actually 5, so I was pleasantly surprised when I was told I could leave an hour and a half early..... wow
