  1. Well, I am good for a couple pics. Next you are going to want to see the gens, : 2893 29 GMT - Relume, Lello Datewheel, Watchmaster Cyclops, Gen Crown, Jimmy CG, TC Croc: 2893 63 GMT - Relume, Lello Datewheel, Watchmaster Cyclops, Palp Crown, Jimmy CG, OEM Croc:
  2. S- Very nice pics and an excellent watch. It clearly is one of the best out of the box reps out there. So tempting to buy but I know it would not get wrist time on me either so I passed. Now if I had a Ferrari...
  3. Ubi- Happy Birthday. Have a great day. Does this mean I have to sing.
  4. Sounds right. The 2892-A2 PR has the extra plate for cyclops and as such the teeth are flat. The GMT has the teeth sticking slightly down as there is more room in the movement.
  5. At this moment they are incompatible with hand winds. It is because they are 0.9 stemmed and you need 1.2 for the handwinds. There is not enough room for a stem adapter. There is a colleague who is trying to solve this and if it can be I will make a post and then buy a bunch from the seller as I know there would be a lot of demand. He is off getting married anyhow for a week or two. Please do not PM on this one. What I will take PM's on is interest on a 1.2mm titanium crown. Can we say Josh 036 - . I have no idea whether they will fit with the case tube though. I will have Rob try that in a few weeks. If anyone wants to buy one now and chance it let me know. I have no idea whether they will fit but I bought all he had which was only a few as you could always work it backward and put a stem adapter to bring it back to 0.9 for the automatics.
  6. Exactly right. The cases or at least the lugs and their hole placement are different for the bracelet models. That is why the bracelet fits so beautifully on the gens. You might try Michael at Adam-co on the bay. He used to have the micro adapters. And if they work on your 188 it should make it usable on other models as well. Is it SS/SS or SS/ti? If you are going to give up and are planning on sending it back let me know. I may want to buy it. You got a good price.
  7. It looks great. Wear it well. The one thing you have to do (if you haven't already) is pick up a date wheel from Lello when they come out.
  8. Very impressive. I predict that within the next few months you will give in and buy a gen as well.
  9. If the watch is the one pictured it is gen. No worries.
  10. Dude- I don't want to scare you but approximately 80% of foot fetishists turn out to be gay. That would be a waste of a beautiful girl if that were the case here.
  11. I am with Ed. PAM's are now showing up everywhere. There are several in my building and I see them all the time when riding the train out to Long Island. And that is in spite of the fact that most AD's have no stock. So people are going to great lengths to get them.
  12. If you own a Metta why are you screwing around with bleach?
  13. Aah, no guts no glory. That is why you have a gen. Your AD can always get it back to snuff. Actually, I am just teasing. I am fairly careful with all my watches. I still don't take my gens swimming ever since I destroyed the movement on my Royal Oak and the AD informed me a new movement would be $1,500-2,000. And it isn't even a movement with complications.
  14. V- Old houses are the best. I bought an 1890's victorian and had a lot of fun (or perhaps it was pain- ) renovating it.
  15. Hey V- Italian frogman will wear their Panerai wile trying to detonate ships but you won't wear one while redoing your house? On a serious note, best of luck on the house.
  16. Glad you caught him. I do have to say that the person picked the wrong person to try and scam.
  17. Thanks for the informative post. So here is my takeaway. Don't eat the dials and don't relume any vintage. Just claim it is 24 years old (1/2*1/2=1/4 brightness from original). I would be remiss if I didn't ask how many watches I would have to buy and scrape to get to a kilo. I could really use the $14 million.
  18. I am still hoping for a bracelet version. Then my IWC wants are satisifed - at least until they come out with a Big Pilot.
  19. And that is why it will hopefully be cheaper. It also will hopefully improve on the bezel alignment as it is supposed to be a top notch factory. Maybe they will add those extra teeth to that cog.
  20. I am strangely drawn to this one. Please show the back whenever you get a chance. Did you tell Ziggy - "Destroy it."
