  1. This 390 has what you describe as little play in it, it's not super wobbly and it sits against the case well enough. What is the best way to go about fixing the tightness of the lever? Is that something The Zigmeister could do, since I was planning to have it serviced anyway.
  2. Does a pin in your 328's lever have a rubber gasket around it? 390 does not have one but it sticks against the crown ok, there is of course enough pressure there for it to stay in place but it's not where then gen is and it is not any different from what you would buy back in 2005. 328 has also different lever design so maybe those are made better.
  3. Sure deal, I will post more pictures. For now all I can say that I was just comparing all the small details to these shots: http://panerai.watch...2818/ti-740333/ and the rep truly looks spot on. The flaws are so microscopic that they are not worth mentioning, and I am picky in general. You can easily parade around with that 390 at an AD, just don't let them play with the CG lever :-)
  4. I received my 390 from Joshua today. The shipping was quick. Good service etc. My first impression is that 390 looks really, really nice, I mean super nice. The dial is in fact a nice brown color, gold color on the hands is actually really nice, a subtle in a way that I like versus in your face pimp gold. The color of the lume looks really nice. The high beat movt. sounds great. This is a really nice dress watch or any occasion watch for sure. Over all it is a very nice rep and I like pretty much everything about it with an exception if the CG lever. I see that the quality of levers must have not improved since 2005. It feels nothing like gen, it does not apply enough pressure on the crown. I mean it is enough to wear around, not that bad but not nearly what it should be. Lever is still flimsy, does not have rubber gasket around the pin. In comparison I have an after market modded CG and lever on my 2005 Eddy Lee 111, I got the CG/lever set from Jimmy Fu back in 2006. That CG and lever is awesome and still better then what's on the 390. You'll notice on my lame iphone picture that the crown on my 111 is actually too thick, thicker then genuine, it was first Lello crown release from 2005 or 2006 which I actually like cause if it more friendly when it comes to winding the watch, much more so then 390. Over all I highly recommend 390, it does truly look awesome. The lever will be annoying for owners of Genuine Panerais or those who have really good after market sets like my 111, but it's not a deal breaker. And I guess all reps have levers like that. Crappy iPhone photo at my desk at work. I will do a nice photoshoot with DSLR camera when I have some time. http://i1173.photobucket.com/albums/r598/lfovco/390.jpg
  5. I see your original post if from 08 July 2010, how is the watch running after all this time, it does look great.

    360

I think they both have the same model. Here are the side by side shots from Joshua: http://www.1-pc8838.com/0pn360m02-dlcle-black-6497-slume-p-11121.html For now I ordered 390, there are also side by side pics of it: http://www.1-pc8838.com/0pn390n01-390n-base-p-11861.html

    360

Yep.. This one looks super nice to me!!!
  8. Based on the feedback I got looks like Joshua's version is more accurate as far as case color and lume plus now it has high beat movt.

    360

I was looking at Josh's pics next to gen. This looks super good. I'll be getting that one.
  10. Pretty sweet, my 390 is on its way as well. 360 will be my next order. Thanks guys.
  11. Ha, that's the best way to approach it, for instance the 111 I have is super old school Eddie Lee, way not accurate but I wear it a lot, I have gen Omega's etc and I'm looking at possibly Gen Jaeger Master Compressor Chronograph 2. It's good to mix it up. It's just gets annoying when there is too many versions of the same watch... that made getting 390 easy though since there is only one to choose from and it looks great.
  12. The finish will never match genuine but for we pay this is great and you have a nice rep there :-)
  13. Going back to the watch. Yesterday or day before that Joshua announced updated version of V1.2 or V1 which I guess we may call V1.3 or whatever. That one has updated movement to high beat as well as updated dial and new vintage hands. So now there are 3 different versions or 4. Now I really don't know which one to choose and I have been looking at it for weeks.

    360

I have been looking up 360 for weeks now and following various threads. It looks like Puretime model is V2 that someone said he gets from kurvasit, so it's the same model, you can see that the serial number matches. Trusty has the V1, older model. They all have wrong hands. V1 also has slow beat movement while V2 has the high beat. But now just yesterday Joshua announced updated version of V1.2 which I guess we may call V1.3 or whatever. That one has updated movement to high beat as well as updated dial and new vintage hands, so as of yestarday this just may be the best version....? Possibly. We'll see after more of us looks at all that.
  15. That looks like a best choice. I'm going to get that kuvarsit model after I receive my 390 and ship it of to get serviced. I still want to do more research to see if it makes sense to swap the Asian movement with ST 36.
  16. I finally had some time to check it out. I like this one the most out of all versions I have seen I think. I noticed that the CG lever is much better in the then the V1.2. Although not perfect it is more rounded like the Gen where in the V1.2 it is way too pointy.
  17. Looks really awesome with your leather strap. You have mentioned that it's heavy, how much heavier would you estimate it is then standard 111 case? I'm thinking of ordering one as well.
  18. I'd like to know how do you get it so scratched? I have been wearing mine for 7 years now and I barely get few scratches here and there.
  19. Ahh, this is such nice model, I still want a PVD.
  20. That sounds great Mikellem, thanks you the info!! I will definitely check it out.
  21. Well, I could not make up my mind and made a decision in the end. So instead I ordered new 390M. Eventually I'll get a PVD but not this time.
