I've been gaga over these since basel, but I saw a gen at an AD last week and was a tad disappointed , it was on a bracelet and perhaps it needs the orange and black Nato to really work. The thing that most stuck out was the grey dial is really somber and seemed to shout "accountant" to me, and why did they forgo the date mag. I think the Black version with grey sub-dials will be nicer. As for the rep I'm doubtful to but mainly its probably because of the movement. There isn't a version of Sec's @ 3 as far as I know so i doubt it will come out in a quality version. Bit of shame really

The B&R's are very good in terms of PVD quality and BR03 is a good choice

Some will tell you that you can get the crown re drilled , but my initial thoughts are get a new one, stuff friggin around you could go replacement a T Crown is $40 a stem 3$ then there P&P then you may need a watch maker to fix it there150$ gone you may as well get another one. If its a cheap auto, a non A7750 I'd start looking a new watch for sure.

Wow tough question , personally those Seamaster Pro do my head in. Seriously the world and his dog has them, its like a rite of passage for significant events that a guy needs one. I just dont see the appeal or significance. The other omega's mentioned sound much better options , but these days a new omega for $1000 is unlikely, could a preowned Speedmaster be an option? here or perhaps this or even Schumacher, something bugs me about GENS I just dont get it if there is a pretty good rep made why part with the extra $$$ for the gen. Choosing a gen that hasn't been well rep'd seems far more sensible. What about an ORIS or a Fortis the have some great watches. Anyway congratulations on your pending nuptials Health and happiness to you and soon to be wife.

What version did you get ? its doesn't sound like a sec@12 it may be a standard A7750 but sounds more like a quartz. The Sec@12 are $400+ the quartz are $100.

Great looking strap on a beast of a watch. I'm impressed at the swimming ability given it being a chrono, bet it certainly stands out on the beach. ST4

A local AD has the Meistersinger's and I always think they are a great looking watch and have a lot of presence for such as simple watch. The nearest I have seen are the IWC regulators Great value at 118bucks

If they don't get worn and aren't under the specail "Category" then get rid of them. But if they are on rotation even if once a month then the more the merrier. My Patek only gets worn with Black Tie which is one or twice a year so sees 12hours wrist time a year. I wish I could afford more watches then I would have more for sure, variety is why I got in to reps I guess. My watchbox has space 20 I thought that would be enough space I wish I'd have gone bigger.
