That was quite a find,
LOL what I was meaning was , what Model do you think the case back was for? I cant see the numbers I was wondering if iy was just a 111H PVD'd or something else
looks great what ever it is
ST4
Thats just awesome, that movement looks great really very special.
Can I ask where the case back is from and what is it for?? as I have not seen PVD'd back like that and it works really well
thanks
ST4
Hard to tell, its been really lived in and the strap's gen enough. The angles of the photos don't help they make the bezel look too steep and the crown a tad thin, so much so I thought it was a 40mm at first.
I suspect its a well worn gen and never seen a service

NOICE
That looks great, nice CG very tasty, and the Canon Pin looks good to
Dude I'd relax on the Lume for that one, I'm sure the Gen 036's are looking a bit tired on the glow front now.

DSN has them but its a bit of a pain to just get one from him.
I would try iOffer I have got some Tang Buckles from there, reasonable price. try Item Number: 45891366
JUST SAY NO
its a slippery slope, and before long you'll have half a dozen watches , umpteen straps, buckles and loads of broken bits just sitting around .
And then you"ll be thinking maybe I should just get a Gen, then I will be happy
Turn around
Mark my words

Thanks for putting that together a UN is now firmly on my todo list for 2009
Wonderful pictures Lani, that really looks like an outstanding rep.

Try the Panerai Special edition series "Firenze"
Here is my DSN 229,
There is also the GMT version, as far as I know the Chrono was never rep'd
I think there have been upgraded versions with other dealers and thier dials seems a tad darker than mine which sounds like it what you after.
Hope this helps

Thanks for Taking one for the team dude, I've been debating this for sooooo long.
Might have to take the plunge, Shame about the lack of AR though, I think I read somewhere that the movement is also a PITA to remove and then put back , do you think that's still the case?
That Brown strap looks awesome, may I ask the source?
cheers and fingers crossed for you
ST4
