  1. I was sure that the yellow stitching combo would be good... And wait till the leather ages and becomes darker and darker and it will do contrast with the stitching.. Then it will be perfect Now I am waiting for photos on your watch when you will get it.. A wristshot with a woman's wrist seems like good advertising
  2. Hey.. glad you liked it my friend.. The Ferrari one is indeed thick but very soft because the Conolly leather is so soft that makes working with it quite difficult... Enjoy it
  3. As all the other members said a 24mm in a 26mm LUMINOR case looks ugly.. So go for the 26mm.. I would personally suggest to get a Simona for the fiddy.. http://www.simonastraps.com/index.asp?sezione=19 This one would look amazing with the Fiddy:
  4. As I have already told you in private, I DO NOT like Davidsen's watches.. They are completely wrong to my eyes.. BUT this one is the ONLY one I would consider buying.. The Font is Excellent.. the colour of the dial is again EXCELLENT, the lume colour though as you said is crap. WIth the relume you did it is now a beauty.. Rolli moved the 082 project it a bit further and he put the DSN dial and movement to a Rep titanium case.. This is the final touch to be honest to make it perfect but even as it is I really like it.. AND my strap looks really cool with the blue dial now that it is a lighter shade of tan. Enjoy it
  5. Very nice watch as well this one.. Only thing that bothers me with brown dial Pams is that the colour from the photos seems a bit off compared to the genuine ones.. The reps have a more rich brownish colour, and the gen more of a brown/greyish one.. Lighter in sunlight and close to black in dark places... This is something I guess the makers have to consider for their next batches... But again a very beautiful watch to enjoy
  6. Beautiful watch Simon.. I believe that the strap with this buckle is a great combo with this watch Enjoy it
  7. I am starting the week with my 112 with the Metta strap
  8. Well thank you very much for the compliment Every new strap is a step closer to perfection
  9. Well someone I know is in the process of producing vintage buckles the way they were made in the 40's for the true rare vintage Panerais... This is a prototype I received from him last week (I got 4) and the final piece will be much better. What are your thought for this? Here are the photos of a genuine vintage buckle:
  10. Well Ms Barrett will have a nice surprise when she wakes up.. Strap is ready In this one I used Yellow thread and it is as close to Louis Vuitton as it gets.... Personally I believe that this colour stitching is perfect for this hide especially when it will darken with time.
  11. Sorry Chris but I believe that the rep dials with the OEM have a big difference.. In the OEM the lume is sitting BELOW the face of the dial... but with the hand painted lume on rep dials it sits MUCH higher than the dial plate. SOmething like the difference of engraved and embossed. I think you had an OEM painted 001/111 dial from nother member and you can understand the difference.
  12. Yeap.. your fellow strap obsessioner got one.. and I am sure he won't regret it Well watches are for most of the people more important than straps.. except the few true strap collectors
  13. No.. thank you for getting one of my straps.. I have put all my effort on it and to all the straps I make like they were my own straps and not for someone else. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoy my personal one. BTW here is another strap finished today (lanikai this is yours )
  14. Well there may be 1 or 2 PAM03 dials at the moment out there.. There were 5-6 of them. I got the lefty 22 dial and I have put in the right direction Chronus to get a genuine 029 dial. But that's it. In the last 3 years there was no other dial available on the market. You asked specifically for 112 dial and nowhere is the correct answer. Even though if there was a slight chance to be on the market don't you think I would have bought it for myself?
  15. Thanks guys for your kind words.. The Ferrari strap is indeed very beautiful but a pain in the ass in the making progress because it is extremely soft and makes everything more difficult..
  16. Here is another strap for a customer who wanted one for his Pam (and not a Ferrari).
  17. Sorry to dissapoint you but I am not selling logo buckles.. the ones on my MP straps are genuine MX logo buckles taken off from OEM MX straps. If you provide buckle and strap I am more than happy to do the transplant
  18. 'Senape' of course... 10000000% times better I don't have it personally. My friend Simon has it in his 111 and he has similar taste with me
  19. ...and you said no more money for straps
  20. The buckle on Maikel's signature is the ORIGINAL Vintage Panerai buckle.... The specific one is mounted on a depth gauge of 70's-80's.
  21. It's good but not great (had one and sold it) and not as good as the Italian hides... I don't want to sound cocky but my Greek hide is much better than most of the hides out there.. Just ask the proud owners who have already received their straps.. Much cheaper and hand made by yours truly
  22. Nice watch although I was never a DSN fan. The strap is nice as well with this watch combo. I had the MF1942 strap on my long gone fiddy.. Similar hide than my greek natural.. I sold it when it developed a nice patina to kruzer through ebay couple of years ago.. Amazing smell but quite thin (approx 3mm).. I will try to find some pics for you,
  23. ..and after some hours your strap is ready Here are the photos of your strap: I also have one ready made strap with a vintage buckle for sale in the strap sales corner.. Check it out if you like this hide http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=38474
