  1. Keep in mind that it is 5mm thick and if your favourite strap is thinner we should put some 5mm more
  2. There you go... (disgard the PAV99 on the other side.. I am waiting for the sewn-in buckles to finish the straps)
  3. Thanks Chris.. I'll try to post some pics with the strap on my 112.. It looks amazing on historics!!!!
  4. Thanks guys... I believe that this strap stitching is the best i have done to date.. And it is not mine (Simon you are lucky but you deserve it as a loyal customer of my straps )
  5. I was searching for a long time for this hide in Greece.. Last times the tanneries were teling me that they can only sell very big hides which were extremely expensive for my purpose.. Anyways last week I was lucky to find a tannery that was selling a medium size hide of this leather in a decent price. It is a vintage leather that is used in many traditional leather stuff in Greece and as time passes it gets darker and with a beautiful patina... It is something that combines the MF WW2 leather, the LV, and the Ammo leather strap together... It is 5mm.. same leather from both sides. It is not soft in the beginning but it is getting suppler with time.. and it will last more than all of us. I can offer only a small amount of straps.. I already sold 2 and I have to make one for myself. Enough said.. Enjoy the photos
  6. I agree.. I have an early series OEM croc and it is amazing quality...
  7. Beautiful collection my friend...
  8. Yes the crystal will probably fit if it comes from a Manual model Pam. I have tried a glass from a 196 and it didn't.
  9. It is a new 2007 release.. the rep will be ready before the gen
  10. Yes Rolli.. I love this strap.. in both the Ferrari and my 112 Thanks for the inspiration...
  11. I think big watches doesn't look good on your wrist... Keep it up to 42mm with a max 44mm
  12. Thanks my friend... I had this strap in my to-buy list since I saw Rolli's post with his 253 with this strap
  13. Depends on the strap mate and how close to the lugs is the first hole. For example for a PAV you would have probably to open two new holes but for a Simona it would fit you probably perfect..
  14. I agree.. the 190 would have been my choice.. And it is now discontinued so it will be more rare in the future...
  15. I got this nice OEM 233 strap from Psti... I always liked this strap.. it looks like the rubber but in leather. I believe it looks perfect in both the 112 and the Ferrari... especially the Ferrari FERRARI: 112:
  16. Agree.. this was definately the first super rep
  17. I think around 200-230$ would be ok considering that it has the old OFFICNE PANERI on the movement which means it is one of the very first versions... Rep straps have no significant value...
  18. 44mm is probably too big for your wrist.. The lugs should not stick out of your wrist...
  19. I have also decided that the 22 will soon be a PVD 26 (but will also has all the parts to return to a 22 whenever I want to)
  20. Well depends on the mood and the day... The Metta is an old-time favourite.. as well as the MP PAV91..
  21. The white font on the H series Pams looks quite bad to be honest.. I suggest keep the off-white font one and sell the other btw. the Jimmy CG on your first Pam is really a big waste.. Completely unaccurate for this watch but identical to the earlier series (A-G) ones.
  22. NO.. Almost invinsible.. Same as the reps.
  23. Of course all beautiful watches and congrats for being a proud owner The big question though: Why two 111?
  24. I personally started collecting reps.. many reps... I had at some time almost 15 Panerai reps.. But then Ubi's moto 'Quality over quantity' hit me and decided to let go all the watches I didn't wore at the time. I ended up with few reps (4-5) well modded and then at the same point (last year) I got my first genuine Panerai and found a source for genuine EXPENSIVE panerai parts... I sold all my reps and started to build franken contemporary Pams (one of the 2-3 people who attempted it in this forum). At the moment I am owning a gen 112 which I wear the hell out of it, and a franken destro 22 in process of being perfect. I also bought my first rep last month after a year.. A Ferrari 008.. identical as the genuine so I consider it having the same value as my frankens in visual aspects. When I will finish the 22 to a perfectly satisfactory point I will make an extra case and everything else in PVD in order to have a 26 when I will get bored of the polished case. And when I will get a new job in the near future (I hope).. I may consider a nice gen Radiomir or a brown dialed titanium 55, 56 or 116
