  1. Indeed.. they are not exactly Panerai models Anyways.. the old 050 is indeed one of the best Pams but unfortunately the newer models are not that good. The mag and the date font are not as the old ones who were very accurate. THey changed them so unless someone finds a used old one it won;t be that accurate.
  2. I couldn't agree more... I never understood all the hype with Dsn watches BTW the best Pam out of the box is the FERRARI 008 chrono. Identical 99,9% to the genuine.
  3. I was in your position a couple of months ago and I will tell you what I have learned through the time... The more straps you make the better they become... The shape will become better and the stitching will be less time-consuming and more perfect lined... For first attempts they are very nice..
  4. History has shown that many actors who have money prefer to wear reps.. and not even decent quality reps but Canal St reps..
  5. I say its a fake and although I know that SMJ has the money to buy the most expensive watch.. just look at the third photo with the hand shake.. From what I see it has rubber strap (it is not smooth) and the BAD rubber strap they have the fakes (not so well defined grooves and smooth) photo of the strap I am saying is here (disgard the watch.. another adition to the wall of shame?) PLUS in the first photo it seems that it has the special razorblade crown - just like the one below...
  6. As I already said to you beautiful photos and I am really glad you enjoy the strap.. This hide was the best I ever got and the two straps I did for myself (stitched and non-stitched) have been worn regularly.

    PAM 196 on the bay

FAKE... Look at the pictures that Ken says they enlarge.. The chrono is running and the date is hidden.. Look at the other two photos.. the chrono is still and the date is crystal clear.. VERY NICE SCAMMER this one Of course the A on PANERAI is wrong so it doesn't matter if he hides or not the date
  8. Beautiful photos Maciek.. I don't really like this watch as well but if she likes it that's what counts
  9. And after today to Premiership........... Yessssssssssssss
  10. I am not a dreamer... not a dreamer
  11. My destro on my newly made custom strap...
  12. And here is the traditional wrist shot.. After a day I was able to wear my lovely strap (sealant and paint had to dry)..

It is supposed to be tritium though...
  14. Here is the edge.. Keep in mind I used only one dose of sealant because I didn't care that much and I was impatient. If you want you can wait 24 hours to dfry completely and them put another dose of sealant to make it extra smooth. Although most of the straps I have seen (except HKTAN's) they have similar edges. Aaron does then extremely smooth with much sealant. The sealant i bought it from a store in UK.
  15. Yes I bought it and I am very happy with it..
  16. David indeed.. strapmaking is like everything else in life.. the more you do it the better you become I have reached a point where the stitching now is easy for me.. I have to improve more in cutting and preparing the leather.. This takes me less but still some significant time. @pubus: This is my first strap that I have used leather sealant to have smooth edges... Photo will follow.. @dadog: I use the standard spike that it is in every toolmaking set. I will take a photo for you as well to see it.

    Remember When

Sorry but I am a bit confused... Are you a dealer? How come you don't have your own section? Sorry if this sounds stupid but how you sell your watches?
  21. I have a 1000% genuine crown (got it from my genuine parts supplier in Italy and not this guy in TUrkey). It is from a later series PAM (2 seals instead of 3 Kruzer's got) and the finish looks very similar to the one Kruzer got.. I don't know if they are genuine ( and to be honest the huge amount of crowns he has seems suspicious at least ).. but if they had just one genuine and they copied it, someone did a brilliant job.
  22. Bad news for 6497 owners.... Rob's reply: I can probably get the crown to fit the case, but I can't get the stem to work...basically you can't get a 6497 stem in any size other than 1.20mm, and the crown is 0.90mm...if I use the stem adapter, the crown is sitting out from the case by about 3mm and there is no way I can get it closer to the case. Problem is with these models, there is no case ring, the movement sits right up against the case sides...so no room for any stem adapters. I don't have any tooling to be able to make a 1.20mm stem into a 0.90mm one... Sorry
  23. It looks nice as well with yellow stitching.. Yours is the other quality carbon.. the glossy one...
